"Jackie" and James Crum.Pete was an Army veteran and long-time member of the Masonic Lodge. Pete retired from the Lynchburg Training Center after 44 years of employment.In addition to his wife and parents, Pete was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Slade.He is survived by one daughter, Suzanne M. Slade; two brothers-in-law, Tommy S. Drinkard and wife, Nell, E.B. Drinkard and wife Loretta; one sister-in-law, Marietta D.
