"Jackie" and James Crum.Pete was an Army veteran and long-time member of the Masonic Lodge.      Emily married Jesse William Slade, son of William Thomas Slade and Ada Louisa Hartup, in 1918.¹ Emily died on October 4, 1950¹ and was buried in Creswick Cemetery, Creswick, Hepburn Shire, Victoria, Australia.¹

     Fred Slade was born on April 2, 1896 in Minnesota.² He was the son of George Shepard Slade and Annettie R. Dunham.^1,3
     Fred married Ruth Madline Travis in 1946.⁴ Daughter of Cora Belle Jones and Frederick William Travis.⁴ Fred died on October 22, 1977 at age 81.² He was buried in Adrian Cemetery, Adrian, Nobles County, Minnesota.²

     Jesse William Slade was born in 1896 in Creswick, Hepburn Shire, Victoria, Australia.¹ He was the son of William Thomas Slade and Ada Louisa Hartup.¹
     Jesse married Emily Amelia May Slater in 1918², the daughter of Henry and Sarah Suckling Slater.² Jesse was widowed when his wife, Emily, died on October 4, 1950.² Jesse died on January 1, 1963¹ and was buried in Creswick Cemetery, Creswick, Hepburn Shire, Victoria, Australia.¹

     Henry Ernest Slade was born in 1872 in Halimand, Ontario, Canada.¹ He was the son of Alfred Slade and Mary A Chappel.¹ Henry Ernest Slade was New Tag circa 1875.²
     Henry married Pearl Leone Gray on October 4, 1899 in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska,^3,4, the daughter of Duncan Gray and Elizabeth Tucker.⁵ Henry Ernest Slade was a farmer.⁶ He resided in Frontenac, Ontario, Canada, on March 23, 1910; a farmer, Henry died of mycarditis at the Rockwood Hospital in Portsmouth. He had been in the hospital 3 weeks.⁷

     Warren Duncan Slade was born on May 17, 1903 in Centreton, Northumberland, Ontario, Canada.¹ He was the son of Henry Ernest Slade and Pearl Leone Gray.² Warren Duncan Slade was was a Methodist.³ Crossing boarder Winnipeg, headed to St. Paul, Minnesota on Great Northern Railroad.^4,5 Warren immigrated from Winnipeg, Canada to Noyes, Minnesota, on October 22, 1926 on the G.N.R.R.¹ He was signed an intent to become a US citizen on October 11, 1941 in Oakland, Alameda County, California.¹
     Warren Duncan Slade registered for the draft for World War II in February 11, 1943, while living at San Pablo, Contra Costa County, California, at 3167 San Pablo Avenue, next of kin: A. Jacques.⁶ Warren died on June 11, 1959 in Contra Costa County, California, at age 56⁷ and was buried in Skyview Memorial Lawn, Vallejo, Solano County, California.⁸

     Charles V. B. Slade was born in November, 1840 in Ulster County, New York.^2,1 He was the son of Leonard Slade and Elvia [?].² Charles died in 1925³ and was buried in Greenwood Memorial Park, San Diego, San Diego County, California.³
