Drummond W. Slade1
(October 1844 - 28 March 1922)
Drummond W. Slade was born in October, 1844 in Kentucky.2 He was the son of Andrew Slade and Elizabeth Rosell.3 During the Civil War, Drummond W. Slade was a Union soldier, Company A, 34th Ohio Infantry (Regulars). He was taken prisoner by the Confederate soldiers in Mississippi and imprisioned in Andersonville for nearly 3 years.4 Drummond died on March 28, 1922 at age 774 and was buried in Springboro Cemetery, Warren County, Ohio.4
