Funeral services are scheduled at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus on Saturday, November 27, 2010, 3 p.m. with Reverend Mike Reeves officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. Mrs. Slade, daughter of the late Horace Davis and Eva Roberts Davis, was born August 15, 1927 in Columbus. She was a Christian and retired from Columbus College where she served faithfully as an Administrative Assistant. Mrs. Slade was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Slade. She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Slade Belovsky and her husband, Gary of Cassopolis, MI and Ronan, MT, and Alison Slade McIntire and her husband, Scott of Newnan, GA; one son, Tom B.
