On June 19, 2012, Harry Montrose Slade, Jr. , beloved husband of Teresa Stigler Slade of 57 years; devoted father of Mary Elizabeth Rogers, Margaret Mary Zimmermann, Teresa Anne Gary, Harry Montrose Slade, III and William David Slade; cherished grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Mr. Slade was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and the Church of the Resurrection. He was a graduate of Washington College in 1943 and spent 50 years in the food and dairy industry as a chemical salesman.
The family will receive friends at HARRY H. WITZKE'S FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City on Thursday 5-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Friday, 10 AM at St. Paul's Catholic Church.
