     George E. Willett was born circa 1757 in Prince George's County, Maryland, on the family estate "Bealington."1,2 He was the son of William Willett and Mary Griffith.3
     George married Elizabeth Sanders, daughter of Samuel Sanders, circa 1785 in Nelson County, Kentucky. George E. Willett was a farmer. George died on July 6, 1811 in Kentucky.4 He was buried in Pioneer Cemetery, Bardstown, Nelson County, Kentucky.4
