Primarily a stage actress, Hill appeared in numerous theater productions since the late 1970s, including “The Elephant Man,” “Light Up the Sky” (for which she received a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle nomination), “Damn Yankees” and “Something’s Afoot.” She had roles in 1980s productions of “The Iceman Cometh,” starring Jason Robards, and “Les Liaisons Dangereuses,” with Frank Langella and Lynn Redgrave.
Elaine married Mark Lewis Ferber, son of Alan Ferber and Luise Pressman, on May 27, 1988 in Hollywood, Los Angeles County, California.3 Elaine portrayed Mitzi in the “The Competition,” starring Richard Dreyfuss and Amy Irving, and appeared in television movies, including “Take My Daughters, Please” in 1988 and “A Matter of Justice” in 1993.
