      SLADE, Beatrice A. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, April 9, 2004, Beatrice A. Slade of Salmon Cove, age 90 years. Predeceased by husband: Samuel; son: Giles; daughter: Gladys Parsons; son-in-law: Gerald Swain; sisters: Effie Kennell and Melina Parsons; step-brother: Edward Sellars. Leaving to mourn, two sons,two daughters, son-in-law: Arthur Parsons, Carbonear; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two sisters: Hattie (Edward) Milley and Mary (Angus) Kennedy, both of Western Bay; two step-brothers: Kenneth (Hilda) Sellars, Old Perlican and Joseph (Leona) Sellars, Western Bay; three step-sisters: Florence (Morley) Button, Mildred (Boyd) Wheadon, both of Western Bay and Jean Budgell (Bert Delaney), St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Monday, April 12. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove.5
