     Edward Wilkins Slade was born in March, 1846 in Albany County, New York.^2,3 He was the son of Edward Slade and Maria Arnold.¹ Edward Wilkins Slade served in Company D, 81st Regiment, Ohio Infanty during the Civil War.⁴
     Edward married Sarah Ann Beamer circa 1867.³ Edward died in 1929⁵ and was buried in Stafford Cemetery, Stafford County, Kansas.⁵

     Theodore R. Slade was born circa 1849 in Albany County, New York.¹ He was the son of Edward Slade and Maria Arnold.¹

     Sarah Ann Beamer was born in March, 1846 in Ohio [tombstone has b July 1, 1844].^2,3
     Sarah married Edward Wilkins Slade, son of Edward Slade and Maria Arnold, circa 1867.² Sarah is shown as mother of five, three are living.⁴ Sarah died on October 15, 1923 at age 77³ and was buried in Stafford Cemetery, Stafford County, Kansas.³

     Elbert Clarence Slade was born on November 16, 1868 in Montomery County, Illinois.^2,3,4 He was the son of Edward Wilkins Slade and Sarah Ann Beamer.¹
     Elbert married Minnie Belle Morris, daughter of F. P. Morris and Harriet Stimson, on March 11, 1896 in Garfield County, Oklahoma Territory.^5,6 Elbert died on June 15, 1940 in Enid, Garfield County, Oklahoma, at age 71.⁴

     Eugene William Slade was known as William.² He was born in December, 1871 in Illinois.^1,3 He was the son of Edward Wilkins Slade and Sarah Ann Beamer.¹
     Eugene married Lucinda Jane Johnson circa 1898.² She was the daughter of Theodore Marion & Melinda Ellen (Edwards) Johnson.⁴ Eugene died in January, 1954 at age 82.^5,6 He was buried in Stafford Cemetery, Stafford County, Kansas.⁵

     Francis Byron Slade was born in October, 1876 in Illinois.² He was the son of Edward Wilkins Slade and Sarah Ann Beamer.³
     Francis married Lillian Jane [?].¹ Francis Byron Slade was registered for the military draft in World War I on September 12, 1918 in Stafford, Stafford County, Kansas.¹ Francis died on January 6, 1949 at age 72.⁴ He was buried in Stafford Cemetery, Stafford County, Kansas.⁴

     Minnie Belle Morris was born in January, 1878 in Kansas her parents were both born in Kentucky.¹ She was the daughter of F. P. Morris and Harriet Stimson.²
     Minnie married Elbert Clarence Slade, son of Edward Wilkins Slade and Sarah Ann Beamer, on March 11, 1896 in Garfield County, Oklahoma Territory.^1,2 Minnie died on January 20, 1942.³ She was buried in Square Cedar Cemetery, Cleo Springs, Major County, Oklahoma.³

     Edward Francis McClain Slade was born on May 18, 1902 in Stafford County, Kansas.³ He was the son of Francis Byron Slade and Lillian Jane [?].¹
     Edward married Eleanor Nola Taylor on December 31, 1921 in Great Bend, Barton County, Kansas.^4,2 Eleanor was the daughter of James and Minerva Alice Metz Taylor.⁵ Edward died on October 26, 1966 at age 64^3,6 and was buried in Stafford Cemetery, Stafford County, Kansas.⁶

     Boyd LeClair Slade was born on July 4, 1903 in Kansas.² He was the son of Francis Byron Slade and Lillian Jane [?].³
     Boyd married Mary Katherine Elliott, daughter of George L. Elliott and Mattie Kate Kelly, on January 16, 1926 in Fairview, Major County, Oklahoma.^4,5,6 Boyd died on August 29, 1987 in Cowley County, Kansas, at age 84.^2,4 His obituary read as follows:

     Dorothy married Richard Wayne Maupin.³ Dorothy died on December 7, 1984 at age 76² and was buried in Hoisington Cemetery, Barton County, Kansas.²

     Violet Elma Slade was born on December 21, 1912 in Stafford County, Kansas.^1,2 She was the daughter of Francis Byron Slade and Lillian Jane [?].¹
     Violet married August A. Manweiller.³ Violet Elma Slade resided in Montana in 1987.⁴ Violet died on September 9, 2002 at age 89.² She was buried in Hoisington Cemetery, Barton County, Kansas.²

     Lucinda Jane Johnson was born in January, 1882 in Stafford County, Kansas.² She was the daughter of Theodore Marion & Melinda Ellen (Edwards) Johnson.¹
     Lucinda married Eugene William Slade, son of Edward Wilkins Slade and Sarah Ann Beamer, circa 1898.³ Lucinda died on September 29, 1929 at age 47¹ and was buried in Stafford Cemetery, Stafford County, Kansas.¹

     Fawnie Arrena Slade was born circa 1899 in Stafford County, Kansas.² She was the daughter of Eugene William Slade and Lucinda Jane Johnson.²
     Fawnie married Arthur Andsell Burris say 1925.³ Fawnie died on November 13, 1985 in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas.⁴ She was buried in Stafford Cemetery, Stafford County, Kansas.^4,1
