     Alfred married second Anna Tremaine Lutes, daughter of William Lutes and Anna Tremain DesBrisay, on December 11, 1907 in Brockton, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.5 Alfred Ernest Horace Slade was naturalized on January 17, 1910 by the District Court of Massachusetts. His residence was on Pleasant Street in West Hanover.2 He died in 1947.6 He was buried in Old North Cemetery, Truro, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.6

Wilfred George Slade1

b. 2 October 1908, d. 3 March 1999
     Wilfred George Slade was born on October 2, 1908 in West Hanover, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.2,3,4 He was the son of Alfred Ernest Horace Slade and Anna Tremaine Lutes.1
     Wilfred married Ruth A. Smith.4 He served in the Maritime Service, Coast Guard and the Navy, serving in World War II from 1942 to 1945. He worked as a highway surveyor for the commonwealth of Massachusetts for several years. He was a registered land surveyor and founded the firm Slade Associates, Inc in Wellfleet. He retired in 1977 and moved to Florida.4 Wilfred George Slade died on March 3, 1999 in Lecanto, Citrus County, Florida, at age 90.3,4 He was buried in Old North Cemetery, Truro, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.4
