     Henry Lewis Slade Jr. was born on February 7, 1893 in New York.1,2 He was the son of Henry Lewis Slade and Olivia Phelps Hoe.1 Henry Lewis Slade Jr. was registered for the draft on June 5, 1917 in Westchester County, New York.2 He was found on a passenger list arriving on October 30, 1928 in Port of New York, New York, aboard the ship "Mongolia" from Havana, Cuba. He was apparently traveling alone.3 He was found on a passenger list on October 18, 1929 in Port of New York, New York; aboard the ship "Aquitania" from Southampton, England. He was apparently traveling alone.3 Henry was listed as a stock broker, married, but he was the only family member listed on census. He was apparently living in an apartment.4
     Henry married Winthrop Gilford circa 1931.
     Henry married Marie Elizabeth Pierce, daughter of Henry M. Pierce and Marie Pickering, on August 2, 1941 in Weston, Fairfield County, Connecticut.5 Henry Lewis Slade Jr. was registered for World War 2 draft in 1942 while living in Westport, Fairfield County, Connecticut, on Rayfield Road. He also lists a residence at 425 South East 17th Ave, Fr. Lauderdale, Florida. Next of kin was Mrs. Henry Slade, Westport, CT. He was self empoyed, Suton Place Arms, Inc Westport.6
     Henry married Marion W. [?]7 Henry Lewis Slade Jr. was living in 1959 in Santa Barbara, California; at 624 Olive Road, with wife, Marion W.7 Henry died on June 13, 1971 in San Diego County, California, at age 78.8
