     Russell Clark Slade was known as Randall Clark Slade.2 He was born on September 10, 1889 in Alameda, Alameda County, California.1,3 He was the son of Spencer Eldridge Slade and Elisabeth Kempton Clark. The California Birth & Death Records, 1800-1994 shows a Randall Clark Slade b Sep 10, 1881 Alameda, to Elisabeth Clark and Spencer Eldridge, however all other references to this person uses Russell Clark Slade. The birth date of 1881 is also in error based on census records and marriage date of the parents.4,2 Russell died on August 24, 1935 at age 45.1 He was buried in San Francisco Columbarium, San Francisco County, California.1
