     Mercy married Samuel Slade, son of Edward Slade and Phebe Chase, on September 13, 1743 in Salem, Massachusetts.2 Mercy died on September 18, 1797 in Bristol County, Massachusetts, at age 74.1

     Joseph married Elsie Sherman, daughter of Caleb Sherman, on April 20, 1788 in Swansea, Massachusetts.1 About the year 1790, Joseph and his family emigrated from Massachusetts to Rensselaer County, New York, settling first in Pittstown and then in Troy. He later moved to Hoosick, New York.1 Joseph died on January 18, 1849 in Hoosick, Rensselaer County, New York, at age 85.1,2 He was buried in Slade Cemetery, Pittstown, Rensselaer County, New York.2
