     Julia married James Ira Hollis, son of William Edward Hollis and Ardecia Ann Bateman, on January 16, 1896 in Washita County, Oklahoma, at the home of his uncle Derius Hollis.3,4 Julia died on February 15, 1969 in Kiowa County, Oklahoma, at age 88.1 She was buried in Oakdale Cemetery, Mountain View, Kiowa County, Oklahoma.5

Byrddie Batavia Mabry

     Byrddie Batavia Mabry was born on October 24, 1872 in Ennis, Ellis County, Texas.1 She was the daughter of Andrew Wilson Mabry and Ann Elizabeth Carnahan.
     Byrddie married William Virgil Hollis, son of William Edward Hollis and Ardecia Ann Bateman, on February 2, 1896 in Montague County, Texas, It is told that Wm Virgil returned to Texas for Byrddie and they were married in a Buggy on the way to Indian Territory, (Oklahoma.) Byrddie Batavia Mabry and William Virgil Hollis sold land Sold 160 Acres to C. C. Casey for $2,500. on January 22, 1907.2 Byrddie Batavia Mabry resided in Chickasha, Grady County, Oklahoma, between 1909 and 1918. She witnessed the sale of Ann Elizabeth Carnahan on November 17, 1915; Sold 80 acres N/2, NE/4, Sec 15, & NW/4 NW/4 West of Mill Hollow Branch Sec 14, T23, R19, to J. A. Green of Chadwick, Christian Co, MO for $800. The document has notary statements from all heirs (widow, her children & spouses) showing their place of residence at that time; Ben Mabry & Minnie, Sally McNatt & J. W. McNatt, all of Washita Co, OK; Byrddie B & W. V. Hollis of Cement, OK, Addie & Arthur O Hollis of Tuttle, OK. Emmett Mabry and Ann E Mabry both signed in Christian Co, MO as single and unmarried, location of their residence at the time is not evident.3 Byrddie Batavia Mabry and William Virgil Hollis resided in Cement, Kiowa County, Oklahoma, on November 22, 1915; Notary statement on sale of Taney Co, MO land gives their residence on that date.4 Byrddie Batavia Mabry resided in Tuttle, Grady County, Oklahoma, between 1919 and 1926. She and William Virgil Hollis resided in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, from 1926 to 1956.5 Byrddie died on March 25, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at age 83.5 She was buried in Sunnylane Cemetery, Del City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.6

     Addie May Mabry was born on October 18, 1875 in Ennis, Ellis County, Texas.1 She was the daughter of Andrew Wilson Mabry and Ann Elizabeth Carnahan.
     Addie married Arthur Oscar Hollis, son of William Edward Hollis and Ardecia Ann Bateman, on November 11, 1897 in Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory.2 Addie May Mabry and Arthur Oscar Hollis were purchased land settled in Oklahoma Territory in 1894, lived on the land 5 years and established homestead ownership of.3 Addie May Mabry and Arthur Oscar Hollis sold land Sold 160 Acres to Gotlieb Walter for $3,200. on August 31, 1907.4 Addie May Mabry and Arthur Oscar Hollis resided in Tuttle, Grady County, Oklahoma, in November, 1915; Notary statement on sale of Taney Co, MO land gives their residence on that date.5 Addie May Mabry witnessed the sale of Ann Elizabeth Carnahan on November 17, 1915; Sold 80 acres N/2, NE/4, Sec 15, & NW/4 NW/4 West of Mill Hollow Branch Sec 14, T23, R19, to J. Arthur Oscar Hollis

(19 October 1875 - 16 January 1948)
     Arthur Oscar Hollis was born on October 19, 1875 in Ennis, Ellis County, Texas. He was the son of William Edward Hollis and Ardecia Ann Bateman. His father and mother both died in 1881 leaving the children as orphans. Arthur was only 5 at the time. He was raised by his Mabry grandparents. Arthur Oscar Hollis were placed under guardianship of James Madison Hollis on February 2, 1883 in Sulphur Springs, Hopkins County, Texas.1
     Arthur married Addie May Mabry, daughter of Andrew Wilson Mabry and Ann Elizabeth Carnahan, on November 11, 1897 in Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory.2 Arthur Oscar Hollis and Addie May Mabry settled in Oklahoma Territory in 1894, lived on the land 5 years and established homestead ownership of in 160 Ac, SW/4, S15, T11N, R18W, IM, Washita County, Oklahoma Territory, on March 18, 1899.3 Arthur Hollis sold to John Hamilton in E/2, NE/4 & E/2 SE/4, 33-10N-19W, Washita County, Oklahoma, on December 5, 1904.4 Arthur Oscar Hollis was purchased land Certificate of Register for SW/4, Sec 15, T11N, R18W Indian Meridian, signed by President T.      Audrey married Tilden Dunn Fitts, son of Brooks Randolph Fitts and Cora A. Dunn, on August 2, 1925 in Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma.1 They had no children.2 Audrey died on December 16, 1982 at age 782 and was buried in Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, Caddo County, Oklahoma.2,3

     Arthur married Angeline Vernon, daughter of Carl Sloane Vernon and Edith Rhodes, circa 1950 in Marion County, Indiana.1 Arthur died on March 27, 1954 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, at age 452 and was buried in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Wanamaker, Marion County, Indiana.3

Lois Ruth Hollis

(18 June 1913 - 16 August 2003)
     Lois Ruth Hollis was born on June 18, 1913 in Chickasha, Grady County, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Arthur Oscar Hollis and Addie May Mabry. Lois Ruth Hollis was graduated in 1931 from in Anadarko High School, Anadarko, Caddo County, Oklahoma.
     Lois married Paul Dee Badgley on February 25, 1935. Dee was the son of Martha "Mattie Gregory and Edward L Badgley. Lois died on August 16, 2003 in Greensburg, Decatur County, Indiana, at age 90. She was buried in Rockcreek Cemetery, Westport, Decatur County, Indiana.1 Her obituary read as follows:

      Lois Ruth Hollis Budgley died Thursday, August 14, 2003 at 4:49 a.m. at the Columbus Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 18, 1913 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Arthur and Addie (Mabry) Hollis.

She graduated from Anadarko High School in 1931. She was a musician, artist and enjoyed her farm life. Her first employment was playing the piano for silent movies at the Sugg Theater in Chickasha. She married Paul Dee Badgley, February 25, 1935, in Chickasha, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on November 11, 1969.

She and her husband owned a photography studio in Ohio and Lois was the color artist. They moved to Indiana in 1943 and owned and operated a dairy farm. She later worked at Murphy's, Minears, and Newlon's Shoes in Greensburg. She is Lois of "Lois and the Guys," a band that has entertained at numerous locations and functions in and around Greensburg. In 2002, she received the Decatur County Senior Volunteer of the year award. She was a very active member of the Rockcreek Baptist Church and was the pianist for over 50 years.

She is survived by two sons, Ed Badgley, Letts, Indiana and Bill Badgley, Greensburg, Indiana; two daughters, Judy Nugent, Alert, Indiana and Mabryan Hutchins, Columbus, Indiana; one sister, Yvonne Hatch, San Antonio, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters, Jessie Slade, Elizabeth Henson, and Audrey Fitz; one brother, Royce Hollis.

Funeral services Monday, August 18, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Malone and Rev. Connie Barr, officiating. Burial will follow at Rockcreek cemetery.

     Lela married Preston Sherrill Jackson on September 16, 1939 in Comanche County, Oklahoma.2
     Lela married second Dillard Harold Hatch Jr. on February 3, 1967 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. Lela died on May 31, 2012 at age 91.3 She was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.3 Her obituary read as follows:

      Lela Yvonne Hatch, age 91 of San Antonio passed away May 31, 2012. She was born May 1, 1921 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Arthur and Addie (Mabry) Hollis. She is preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter, Michele. Survivors include her children, Larry Jackson (Pat), Suzann Morin (Joe), Jeni Ray (Ronnie); grandchildren, Stephan (Sherry), Joe Ed (Sheryl), LeAnn (Casey), Jeff (Rebecca), David (Anna), Jonathan (Amber), Jeff (Brynn), and James (Kate); 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews . Visitation will be Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. and funeral services will be Monday, June 4, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.3

Andrew Wilson Mabry

(8 July 1840 - 28 June 1913)
     Andrew Wilson Mabry was born on July 8, 1840 in Jacksonville, Madison County, Mississippi. [Could not find a town of Jacksonville in Mississippi. Census shows Madison County.]1 He was the son of Benjamin Mabry and Sally Thornton. Andrew Wilson Mabry served in a Private in the First Mounted Rifles, M-Pa on June 15, 1861 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.2
     Andrew married Ann Elizabeth Carnahan, daughter of John Thomas Carnahan and Elizabeth Ann Byrd, on July 31, 1862 in Chicot County, Arkansas.3 Andrew Wilson Mabry was a farmer. He was members of the Presbyterian Church. In Ellis County, Texas, on October 20, 1888.4 He was purchased land NE/4, S22, T11N, R18W, I.M.5,6 Sold 160 Acres to Benjamine W Stout for $2,000. in NE/4, S22, T11N, R18W, Washita County, Oklahoma, on December 31, 1906.7 He and Ann Elizabeth Carnahan were purchased land 80 Acres bought from Eunice M. Humphreys, a widow of Washita Co, OK. land in Missouri: N/2, NE/4, Sec 15, & NW/4 NW/4 West of Mill Hollow Branch Sec 14, T23, R19, 80 Ac.8 Andrew died on June 28, 1913 in Kissee Mills, Taney County, Missouri, at age 72.9 He witnessed the sale of Ann Elizabeth Carnahan on November 17, 1915; Sold 80 acres N/2, NE/4, Sec 15, & NW/4 NW/4 West of Mill Hollow Branch Sec 14, T23, R19, to J. A. Green of Chadwick, Christian Co, MO for $800. The document has notary statements from all heirs (widow, her children & spouses) showing their place of residence at that time; Ben Mabry & Minnie, Sally McNatt & J. W. Sarah Ann Mabry

(19 June 1863 - 12 December 1939)
     Sarah Ann Mabry was born on June 19, 1863 in Chicot County, Arkansas.1 She was the daughter of Andrew Wilson Mabry and Ann Elizabeth Carnahan. Sarah Ann Mabry went by Sallie Mabry.
     Sarah married first Robert Whorton on January 3, 1884 in Ellis County, Texas.1 After their wedding, Sarah and Robert Whorton were honored with a shivaree in which Robert was thrown into a pond of near freezing water. He contacted pneumonia and died on 14 Jan 1884, eleven days after their wedding.2
     Sarah married second O. H. McNatt on September 25, 1891 in Texas.1
     Sarah married James William McNatt on September 25, 1892 in Bowie, Montague County, Texas.3 Sarah Ann Mabry witnessed the sale of Ann Elizabeth Carnahan on November 17, 1915; Sold 80 acres N/2, NE/4, Sec 15, & NW/4 NW/4 West of Mill Hollow Branch Sec 14, T23, R19, to J.      Laura Frances Mabry was born on August 4, 1866 in Chicot County, Arkansas.1,2 She was the daughter of Andrew Wilson Mabry and Ann Elizabeth Carnahan.
     Laura married Benjamin McCulloch, son of James C. McCulloch and Minerva Jane Wilson, on October 19, 1884 in Ellis County, Texas.1 Laura died on August 14, 1900 in Ellis County, Oklahoma Territory, at age 34.1
