      BURLINGTON - Mrs. Billie Jean Slade Lunsford, 52, of 1515 South Mebane Street, Apt. 121, Burlington died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012 at 4:34 p.m.
A native of Florida, she was the daughter of Gene Arnold Slade and Billie Kay Garmon Slade, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Bryson Khamsouk.
Survivors include her significant other, Johnnie Bridges; three daughters, Jessica Ward Cook and husband Johnny of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., April Ward of Burlington and Tiffany Ward of Snow Camp; nine grandchildren, Josh Ward, Chandler Cook, Alyssa Cook, Maylee Khamsouk, Kayden Khamsouk, Jacob Ward, Zackery Ward, Trevor Salter and Ryan Salter; and three brothers, Robert Clinton Slade, Charles Lee Slade and Steven Scott Slade.
The family will receive friends at the residence. No services will be held at this time.
