     James Michael Slade was born on October 27, 1939 in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas.¹ He was the son of Eldon Clarence Slade and Bess Ruth Cavaness.¹
     James married Jody Evans.²
     James married Freda Irons on September 28, 1991 in Hart, Castro County, Texas.¹ James died on November 24, 2012 at age 73.¹ He was buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Amarillo, Potter County, Texas.¹ His obituary read as follows:

His favorite pastime was playing golf.Mike never met a stranger. He loved life and had many friends. He would know one's life in 10 minutes of a visit. If you were lucky enough to be with him when he ran across a friend, you could count on being there for 30 minutes to an hour. He was a friend you could count on and be comfortable with. He loved his family, his church, his friends and his savior, Jesus Christ.He always treated others the way he wanted to be treated. Family members as well as friends looked forward to sitting down with him and listening to the stories about the days and nights while working as a fireman and the strange things that would happen on his service calls while working for the Sears Company.      Terry Slade was born on October 17, 1958 in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas.² He was the son of James Michael Slade and Jody Evans.^1,2 Terry Slade was living on November 24, 2012 in Amarillo, Texas.¹ Terry died on January 8, 2018 in Amarillo, Texas, at age 59.² His obituary read as follows:

Terry was born October 17, 1958 in Amarillo to
Mike and Jody Slade. He graduated from Tascosa High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy, which is where he earned his degree in broadcast engineering. Terry made his career in television, having worked for Channel 4 KACV, and Channel 10 KFDA for over 35 years combined. He was very involved with the Golden Spread Council of Boy Scouts of America. He was preceded in death by his father,
Mike Slade, and by his grandparents,
Jay and Noma Evans. Survivors include his mother, Jody Slade of Amarillo; a brother,
Bobby Slade of Amarillo; a sister,
Sheri Slade of Orlando, FL; a nephew,
Michael and wife Nicole of Oklahoma City, OK; a niece,
Heather Wilson of Orlando, FL; a great-niece,
Kaitlyn Slade; and a great-nephew,

     Theodore Bertram Shapiro was born on March 3, 1919 in New York.^2,3 He was the son of Nathan Shapiro and Serena Wissauer.^4,5 Theodore Bertram Shapiro was known as Theodore Bertram Slade.^2,1 He enlisted to serve in World War II on July 9, 1942 in Fort Jay, Governors Island, New York County, New York.²
     Theodore married Rhoda [?].⁶ Theodore Bertram Shapiro was living on March 1, 1979 in Flushing, Queens County, New York.³ Theodore died on March 28, 1999 at age 80.⁷ He was buried in Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, Boynton Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida.⁶

     Nathan Shapiro was born circa 1892 in New York both of his parents were born in Russia.² He was the son of David Shapiro and Anna [?].³
     Nathan married Serena Wissauer.²

     Mark Slade was born on October 5, 1951 in Queens County, New York.¹ He was the son of Theodore Bertram Shapiro and Rhoda [?].¹ Mark died on May 25, 2017 in Broward County, Florida, at age 65.¹ He was buried in Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, Boynton Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida.¹ His obituary read as follows:

      Mark Slade, born October 5, 1951 in New York, to Rhoda and Theodore Slade died peacefully of heart failure on May 25, 2017 in the Sunrise Rehabilitation Center where he resided since 2010. Mark grew up in Bayside NY and moved to Tamarac in 1980. Mark was a person with special needs; life was a struggle for him. Despite his disabilities, Mark found joy in bowling, painting, TV sitcoms, Westerns and his beloved cats. Mark's love of Elvis music, earned him the nickname "Elvis." Mark is survived by his sister Roberta Goldner and his niece Erica and nephew Bobby. Mark will be interned 1:30 PM on Sunday at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens next to his parents whom he loved deeply.

     Mattie married John D. Slade, son of Jahue Gustave Slade and Minnie Othelda Homesley.¹ Mattie died on October 29, 2002 at age 86.¹ She was buried in Mount Antioch Cemetery, Prarie Hill, Limestone County, Texas.¹

     John William Slade was born on March 9, 1939 in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas.² John died on March 10, 1939.¹ He was the son of John D. Slade and Mattie Adele Roberts¹ and was buried in Mount Antioch Cemetery, Prarie Hill, Limestone County, Texas.¹

     Thelda Jean Slade was known as Jeanie.¹ She was born on November 7, 1941 in Limestone County, Texas.² She was the daughter of John D. Slade and Mattie Adele Roberts.²
     Thelda married J. C. "Mack" McKinney.¹ Thelda died on June 20, 1997 at age 55.² She was buried in Mount Antioch Cemetery, Prarie Hill, Limestone County, Texas.¹
