World War I - honorably discharged at Camp Dick, Dallas, TX, Dec. 1918 in 1918.3 George died on June 20, 1957 in Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas, at age 82.1 He was buried in Linwood Historic Cemetery, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia.1
