She enjoyed country and bluegrass music, going to bluegrass festivals, playing Scrabble with her husband, doing giant jigsaw puzzles, and an occasional trip to the casino. Above all, she loved to spend time with her family and was famous for her weekly family spaghetti dinner. Beloved wife of 65 years to James W. Slade, Sr. Devoted mother of James W. Slade, Jr. (Karen) and Linda Tomarchio (Dan). Loving grandmother of Tara Gabbianelli (Mike), Brian Tiley (Nicole) and James W. Slade, III (Ashley). Loving great-grandmother of Haley, Michael III, Ava, Stella, Ivy and Taylor.
