     Claude Percy Slade was born on July 17, 1884 in Cumberland, Nova Scotia, Canada.² He was the son of William Richard Slade and Selina Jane Stephens.¹ Claude immigrated from to United States in 1908.³
     Claude married Hazel Dell Gillette, daughter of Cyrenus Gregory Gillette and Martha Carmella Smith, on July 9, 1914.³ Claude Percy Slade was naturalized in 1916.³ He was registered for the military draft in World War I on September 12, 1918 in Woodburn, Marion County, Oregon, living at 218 Cooledge, Silverton, OR.⁴ Claude died on May 22, 1951 in Glenn County, California, at age 66.⁵

     Hazel Dell Gillette was born on October 26, 1892 in Texas.^2,3 She was the daughter of Cyrenus Gregory Gillette and Martha Carmella Smith.³

     William Gillette Slade was born on September 27, 1915 in Silverton, Marion County, Oregon.^3,1 He was the son of Claude Percy Slade and Hazel Dell Gillette.³
     William married Martha Taft.⁴ William died on June 23, 1993 at age 77.¹ He was buried in Paradise Cemetery, Paradise, Butte County, California.²

     Mary Elizabeth Holland was born on August 17, 1914 in Beekmantown, Clinton County, New York.³
     Mary married Joseph Wilbur Slade, son of Frank Wilber Slade and Lena Gamache, on August 17, 1937 in St. Alexanders Church, Morrisonville, New York.¹ Mary died on May 6, 2005 at age 90.³ She was buried in St. Alexander's Cemetery, Morrisonville, Clinton County, New York.³

     Cora Belle Autry was born circa 1901 in North Carolina.² She was the daughter of Daniel A. Autry and Louanna Hunneycutt.³
     Cora married Cooke Fitzhugh Slade Jr., son of Cooke Fitzhugh Slade and Sarah Elliott, on December 30, 1933 in Falls Church, Fairfax County, Virginia.¹ Cora died on July 22, 1963.³ She was buried in National Memorial Park, Falls Church, Fairfax County, Virginia.³

     Genevieve Delores Chambers was born circa 1914 in Virginia.¹ She was the daughter of Jasper B. Chambers and Susan I. [?]²
     Genevieve married James Hamilton Slade, son of Benjamin Franklin Slade and Hattie Miller Carbaugh.¹ Genevieve died in 1967.

     Lily married Reginald Norman Slade, son of James Slade and Elizabeth Emberly Ridout, in July, 1908 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England.^2,4 Lily and Reginald immigrated from England, aboard the S.S. Adriatic
departing Southampton on July 29, 1908 and arriving Port of New York. to New York on July 29, 1908.⁴ Lily died in March, 1963 in New Hampshire at age 80.⁵

     Selena M. Slade was born in March, 1848 in Fairfax County, Virginia.^1,3 She was the daughter of William Otis Slade and Julianna Fitzhugh.⁴ Selena was recorded as Julia in the 1850 census.⁵
     Selena married Philip M. Edmonds, son of William F. Edmonds and Mary E. [?], on October 25, 1877 in Falls Church, Fairfax County, Virginia, They only had one child, William F. Edmonds, likely named after his grandfather.⁶ Selina & Phillip likely died sometime after 1910 as neither are found in the 1920 census. Their son, William F. Edmonds, is living with his family and mother-in-law in Falls Church, Virginia.

     Julianna Fitzhugh was born circa 1818 in Virginia.¹ She was the daughter of Mordecai Cooke Fitzhugh and Frances "Fanny" Tabb.¹
     Julianna apparently had two children with William Otis Slade, son of Charles Slade and Mary Oates, however, no record has been found of their marriage. Strangely, they are not shown living together after the birth of their son, Cooke. Julianna was recorded in Oct 1850 census with the surname Slade, but was living with her parents together with her two toddlers, Selina "Julia" Slade, 2, and Cooke Slade, 5/12. In 1860, Julianna and her two children were living with her widowed mother. William Otis Slade was living in Falls Church with his children from his first wife in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 census. When her daughter Selina was married in 1877, her marriage record lists Selina's father as William O.      Philip M. Edmonds was born in 1841 in Fauquier County, Virginia.¹ He was the son of William F. Edmonds and Mary E. [?]²
     Philip married Selena M. Slade, daughter of William Otis Slade and Julianna Fitzhugh, on October 25, 1877 in Falls Church, Fairfax County, Virginia, They only had one child, William F. Edmonds, likely named after his grandfather.²
