She had all summer to think and dread and to realize she had her place but all the things she had grown to know were gone. I suspect the fire got one more life than it is credited with killing, especially with her strong will and business sense. It took a while to decide what to do but she did it at the place she loved.' on September 5, 1908.3 She was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.4 She was New Tag per Poole, Chelsea VR, Shurtleff.
