     Georgiana Mary Slade was born on August 16, 1903 in Ramsey County, Minnesota.¹ She was the daughter of George Theron Slade and Charlotte Elizabeth Hill. Georgiana died on February 23, 1993 in Washington County, Minnesota, at age 89.¹ She was buried in Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights, Dakota County, Minnesota.²

     George Bruce Milton was born circa 1833 in Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.¹
     George married Lucy Kidder Slade, daughter of Henry Slade and Sally Danforth, on October 3, 1853 in Boston, Massachusetts.²
     George married second Elizabeth Snow circa 1886.³ Elizabeth was his sister-in-law, the widow of Levi Slade, who was brother of Lucy Kidder Slade.⁴

     Henrietta Caverly Lewis was born on July 22, 1833 in Boston, Massachusetts.² Henrietta was the daughter of Nancy L Cloues and William Lewis of Boston.
     Henrietta married Leroy Sunderland Slade, son of Henry Slade and Sally Danforth, on June 12, 1853 in Chelsea, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.^1,3 Henrietta died on January 9, 1911 at age 77.² She was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁴

     Horace Augustus Slade was born in October, 1863 in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.^1,2 He was the son of Leroy Sunderland Slade and Henrietta Caverly Lewis.¹
     Horace married Mabel Eugenia Simmons circa 1893.² Horace Augustus Slade was found on a passenger list arriving in Boston, Massachusetts, on September 12, 1911 aboard the S.S. Canopic from Naples, Italy.³

     Mabel Eugenia Simmons was born in March, 1866 in Massachusetts Her parents were both born in Maine.¹
     Mabel married Horace Augustus Slade, son of Leroy Sunderland Slade and Henrietta Caverly Lewis, circa 1893.¹ Mabel Eugenia Simmons witnessed the passenger list of Horace Augustus Slade on September 12, 1911 in Boston, Massachusetts; aboard the S.S. Canopic from Naples, Italy.³

     Elliott Kimball Slade was born on August 30, 1897 in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.^1,3 He was the son of Horace Augustus Slade and Mabel Eugenia Simmons.¹ Elliott Kimball Slade witnessed the passenger list of Horace Augustus Slade on September 12, 1911 in Boston, Massachusetts; aboard the S.S. Canopic from Naples, Italy.⁴
     Elliott married Ruth E. Falconer on January 2, 1922 in Manhattan, New York County, New York.^5,6 Elliott Kimball Slade was living in 1924 in Arlington, Massachusetts; at 53 Orvis Road.⁵
     Elliott married second Margaret Catherine Henry, daughter of Frank Stanislaus Henry, circa 1926.⁷ Elliott died on July 22, 1971 in Massachusetts at age 73.⁸

     Laura Ann Goodwin was born in June, 1875 in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.² She was the daughter of Dr. Richard J. P. Goodwin M.D. and Josephine Louise Allen.³
     Laura married Henry Milton Slade, son of Leroy Sunderland Slade and Henrietta Caverly Lewis, on June 7, 1904 in Malden, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁴ Laura died on January 12, 1959 at age 83.⁵ She was buried in South Dartmouth Cemetery, Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.⁵

     Genevieve Slade was born on October 12, 1905 in Malden, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.² She was the daughter of Henry Milton Slade and Laura Ann Goodwin.¹ Genevieve Slade was on a passenger list arriving in Port of New York, New York, on August 4, 1930 aboard S.S. Nieuw Amsterdam, sailing from Boulogne Sur Mer, France.³
     Genevieve married Walter A. Johnson on August 6, 1934 in Maine.⁴ Genevieve died on November 20, 1991 in Stoneham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 86.⁵

     Alice J. Slade was born on January 28, 1908 in Malden, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.² She was the daughter of Henry Milton Slade and Laura Ann Goodwin.¹ Alice died on November 2, 1979 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, at age 71.^3,2 She was buried in South Dartmouth Cemetery, Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.⁴

     Elliott Kimball Slade Jr. was born on November 7, 1927 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.^1,2,3 He was the son of Elliott Kimball Slade and Margaret Catherine Henry.^1,3
     Elliott married first Elinor Everson Stever, daughter of Clifton Baird Stever and Laura Adeline Douglas, in Barnstable County, Massachusetts.⁴
     Elliott married second Judith Messer in 1983.³ Elliott died on July 19, 2007 in West Dennis, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, at age 79.¹ He was buried in Lothrop Hill Cemetery, Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.² His obituary read as follows:

      Elliott K. Slade Jr., 79, of Dennis, died July 19 after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Judith Messer.

Mr. Slade was born in Boston and graduated from Boston Latin School in 1945. Upon graduation, he served with the 20th Air Force in Guam during World War II. After the war, he received bachelor's and law degrees from Boston University.

In 1955, he moved to Cape Cod where he began his legal career and raised his family. He practices law from his office in West Dennis for more than 50 years. During this time he served as Dennis town counsel, chairman of the Dennis Republican Town Committee, was a member of the Dennis Planning Board and member of the selective service board.

He was a former Cubmaster and Scoutmaster, and was a member of the Cape Cod Rough Riders. In recent years, he volunteered for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox of the Cape Cod Baseball League, and was an active member of the West Dennis Yacht Club.

He leaves two sons, Elliot Slade III of New York City and Aspen, Colo., Clifton Slade of Colorado Springs; two daughters, Kimberley Slade of Halfmoon, N.Y. and Pamela Kelly of Wrentham; a sister, Norma Robbins of Scituate; seven grandchildren; and a niece.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 13 at the South Dennis Congregational Church.⁵ His obituary read as follows:

      DENNIS - Elliott K. Slade Jr., 79, passed away July 19, 2007, after a brief illness.

Mr. Slade was born in Boston on Nov. 7, 1927, the son of Elliott K. Slade Sr. and Margaret (Henry) Slade. He graduated from Boston Latin School in 1945. In recent years, he volunteered for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

Mr. Slade married Judith Messer in 1983. He was predeceased by his beloved wife earlier this year. They enjoyed the ocean, clamming and sailing. Both were active members of the West Dennis Yacht Club. They also enjoyed golf and travel, often finding their way to Zihuatanejo, Mexico.

He leaves behind four children: son, Elliott K. Slade III and his wife Donna, and their daughters, Laura, Shannon and Kimball of New York City and Aspen, Colo; son, Clifton S. Slade, MD and his wife Chong Son and their daughters, Victoria and Alexandra of Colorado Springs; daughter, Kimberley A. Slade of Halfmoon, N.Y; and daughter, Pamela J. Kelly and her husband Brian J. Kelly MD, and their sons, Brian Jr. and Daniel of Wrentham. He also leaves his sister, Norma F. Robbins of Scituate; niece, Marion Reed and her husband Graham, and grandnephew and grandniece, Colin and Carolyn, all of Norwell; and cousin, Margaret McCaffrey of North Cambridge.

A memorial service will be held for family and friends on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 11 a.m., at the South Dennis Congregational Church, with the Rev. Dr. Kathleen S. Henry of the Dennis Union Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cape Cod and Islands Council, Boy Scouts of America, 247 Willow St., Yarmouthport, MA 02675.³

     Margaret Catherine Henry was born in 1904 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.³ She was the daughter of Frank Stanislaus Henry.⁴
     Margaret married Elliott Kimball Slade, son of Horace Augustus Slade and Mabel Eugenia Simmons, circa 1926.¹ Margaret died in 1994.²

     Caroline Esther Garfield was born on November 24, 1816 in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.² She was the daughter of William Garfield and Mary Cary.³
     Caroline married Henry S. Slade, son of Henry Slade and Sally Danforth, on October 2, 1837 in Shrewsbury, Worcester County, Massachusetts.^4,5 She signed a will 3 March, 1882, naming her three children, Mary Cardy, Annie M. Oakes and George H. Slade. Her executor was George B. Milton of Weston and witnesses were Daniel Milton, Henry S. [Slade] Milton and Alfred E. Hodge.³ Caroline died in the shipwreck of the City of Columbus off Gay Head, Martha's Vinyard, Massachusetts on January 18, 1844 at age 67.³

     Augusta Patten Slade was born on July 30, 1847 in Boston, Massachusetts.^1,3 She was the daughter of Jarvis Slade and Hannah Thomas Patten.¹ Passport issued.³ Augusta died on June 24, 1933 at age 85² and was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, Bronx County, New York.²

     Allison Lawrence Slade was born circa 1850 in Massachusetts.¹ She was the daughter of Jarvis Slade and Hannah Thomas Patten.¹ Allison died on January 26, 1903 in New York City, New York, 247 5th Ave and was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, Bronx County, New York.²

     Jarvis Morgan Slade was born on November 3, 1853 in Boston, Massachusetts.^1,3 He was the son of Jarvis Slade and Hannah Thomas Patten.¹
     Jarvis married Laura Hester Emott.⁴ Jarvis Morgan Slade was He was an architect.⁴ Jarvis died on November 28, 1882 in New York City, New York County, New York, at age 29.⁵ He was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, Bronx County, New York.²

     James Fulton Slade was born on February 8, 1856 in Massachusetts.^1,2 He was the son of Jarvis Slade and Hannah Thomas Patten.¹ James died on February 8, 1888 at age 32. He was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, Bronx County, New York.²

     Marshall Perry Slade was born on November 3, 1861 in New York [baptised Jun 1, 1862, West Whiteland, Pennsylvania].^2,1 He was the son of Jarvis Slade and Hannah Thomas Patten.²
     Marshall married Jane Rosetta Carson on April 11, 1899 in Manhattan, New York County, New York.³ The daughter of Matilda Grayden Moore & Joseph Carson.³ Marshall was widowed when his wife, Jane, died on July 21, 1925 at age 56.⁴ About 1933, he married Bertha Cooledge, b 1881, Massachusetts.⁵ Marshall died in October, 1950 at age 88.⁶ He was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, Bronx County, New York.⁶

     Henry Lewis Slade was born on August 27, 1864 in New York.^1,3,4 He was the son of Jarvis Slade and Hannah Thomas Patten.¹ Henry was issued a passport for travel to Europe.⁴ Henry was a salesman for Deering, Miliken & Co.²
     Henry married Olivia Phelps Hoe on September 29, 1891 in St. Mark's Church on Stuyvesant Square, Manhattan, New York County, New York, Olivia and Henry were wed by the Rev. J. B. Rylance the pastor of St. Marks. After they were married her younger sister, Laura Hoe and Mr. Ernest Trow Carter also wanted to be wed.The two young grooms had been together at Princeton College. They were both leaders in their class and regarded as highly promising young men.^2,5,6 She was the eldest daughter of Robert and Olivia Hoe of New York City. Robert was a millionaire manufacturer of printing presses.^2,5 In 1920, Henry was living alone, 55, divorced, retired. Henry died on July 9, 1924 at age 59.⁷ He was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, Bronx County, New York.⁷

     Olivia Phelps Hoe was born in July, 1868 in Massachusetts.² Daughter of Robert and Olivia Hoe of New York City.¹
     Olivia married Henry Lewis Slade, son of Jarvis Slade and Hannah Thomas Patten, on September 29, 1891 in St. Mark's Church on Stuyvesant Square, Manhattan, New York County, New York, Olivia and Henry were wed by the Rev. J. B. Rylance the pastor of St. Marks. After they were married her younger sister, Laura Hoe and Mr. Ernest Trow Carter also wanted to be wed.The two young grooms had been together at Princeton College. They were both leaders in their class and regarded as highly promising young men.^1,3,4 In 1920, Olivia owned her home, was listed as married but living alone, except for boarder, Charles P. Berridge, 41, born Canada.⁵ Olivia died on September 6, 1927 at age 59.^6,7 She was buried in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York.⁶
