     William Slade was born on September 19, 1800 in Sempronious, Cayuga County, New York.^1,2 He was the son of Peleg Slade Jr. and Betsey Bassett.¹ He was educated in the district schools and also at a select school in Moravia. He taught school for three terms and, when eighteen years old, came to Kelloggsville, and entered the employment of John Fuller, a merchant, occupying the position of clerk from 1818 to 1825. Upon the death of Mr. Fuller, Mr. Slade boutht the buswiness, which he carried on for fifty years.¹
     William married Sallie Kennedy, daughter of Samuel Kennedy and Dorcas Cogswell, on March 1, 1838.¹ William died on April 2, 1886 at age 85² and was buried in Kelloggsville Cemetery, Sempronious, Cayuga County, New York.^2,3

     Sallie Kennedy was born on June 22, 1818 in Niles, Cayuga County, New York.^1,2 She was the daughter of Samuel Kennedy and Dorcas Cogswell.²
     Sallie married William Slade, son of Peleg Slade Jr. and Betsey Bassett, on March 1, 1838.¹ Sallie died on December 10, 1868 at age 50² and was buried in Kelloggsville Cemetery, Sempronious, Cayuga County, New York.^2,3

     John Carroll Slade was born in July, 1880 in Cayuga County, New York.¹ He was the son of Fenimore Cooper Slade and Alice R. Rooks.
     John married Katharine Keyes, daughter of Rollin Arthur Keyes and Katharine D. Officer, on October 2, 1909 in Evanston, Cook County, Illinois,² and died on March 20, 1963 in Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at age 82.³

     Katharine Keyes was born in October, 1886 in Illinois. She was the daughter of Rollin Arthur Keyes and Katharine D. Officer.
     Katharine married John Carroll Slade, son of Fenimore Cooper Slade and Alice R. Rooks, on October 2, 1909 in Evanston, Cook County, Illinois.¹

     Carroll Slade was born in 1913 in Cook County, Illinois. She was the daughter of John Carroll Slade and Katharine Keyes.
     Carroll married Kenneth Carl McKeown, son of John C. McKeown.¹ Carroll died in 1975.²

     Shirley Slade was born on April 4, 1921 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. She was the daughter of John Carroll Slade and Katharine Keyes.
     Shirley married Gene L. Teer. Shirley died on April 26, 2000 at age 79. She was buried in Capital Memorial Gardens, Austin, Travis County, Texas.

     Fenimore Cooper Slade was born on December 11, 1848 in Kelloggsville, Cayuga County, New York.¹ He was the son of William Slade and Sallie Kennedy.
     Fenimore married Alice R. Rooks circa 1874. Fenimore died on March 29, 1932 at age 83 and was buried in Kelloggsville Cemetery, Sempronious, Cayuga County, New York.²

     Alice married Fenimore Cooper Slade, son of William Slade and Sallie Kennedy, circa 1874. Alice died on November 12, 1925 at age 72. She was buried in Kelloggsville Cemetery, Sempronious, Cayuga County, New York.

     George Clinton Slade was born on June 16, 1882 in Cayuga County, New York. He was the son of Fenimore Cooper Slade and Alice R. Rooks. George Clinton Slade was registered for the military draft in World War I on September 12, 1918 in New York. George died in 1960. He was buried in Kelloggsville Cemetery, Sempronious, Cayuga County, New York.¹

     Mary B. Slade was born in February, 1839 in Cayuga County, New York.² She was the daughter of William Slade and Sallie Kennedy.¹ Mary died on March 19, 1931 at age 92³ and was buried in Kelloggsville Cemetery, Sempronious, Cayuga County, New York.³

     Esther Slade went by Ettie.² She was born circa 1842 in Kelloggsville, Cayuga County, New York.¹ She was the daughter of William Slade and Sallie Kennedy.¹ Esther died on August 25, 1911.³ She was buried in Kelloggsville Cemetery, Sempronious, Cayuga County, New York.³

     Amelia F. Slade was born circa 1844 in Kelloggsville, Cayuga County, New York.¹ She was the daughter of William Slade and Sallie Kennedy.¹ Amelia died on June 13, 1928.²

     Rachael married Mason B. Slade, son of Peleg Slade Jr. and Betsey Bassett.¹ Rachael was not listed with family in 1870. It is likely she died prior to that time.²

     Betsey Slade was born on January 3, 1815 in Sempronious, Cayuga County, New York.^1,2 She was the daughter of Peleg Slade Jr. and Betsey Bassett.¹ She married William Moseman.² Betsey died on August 15, 1904 at age 89.² She was buried in Kelloggsville Cemetery, Sempronious, Cayuga County, New York.²

     Catharine Quackenbush was born on December 3, 1820.¹
     Catharine married Barton Slade, son of Peleg Slade Jr. and Betsey Bassett.¹ Catharine died on October 27, 1844 at age 23 23y 10m 24 days.¹ She was buried in Kelloggsville Cemetery, Sempronious, Cayuga County, New York.¹
