     Elizabeth Buffinton was born on May 20, 1776 in Swansea, Bristol County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Samuel Buffinton and Susanna Chase.
     Elizabeth married Eber Slade, son of Robert Slade and Elizabeth Chase, on September 7, 1801 in Swansea, Massachusetts.2 Elizabeth died on April 7, 1807 in Fall River, Bristol County, Massachusetts, at age 30.
