     Helen married Joseph Pitts Slade, son of Joseph Edgar Slade and Lena Elizabeth Lee, circa 1924.² Helen died on September 30, 1991 at age 84.³ She was buried in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church Cemetery, Seneca, Lamar County, Mississippi.³

     Pitts Joseph Slade Jr. was born on July 20, 1927 in Lumberton, Lamar County, Mississippi.^1,2 He was the son of Joseph Pitts Slade and Helen Knue.²
     Pitts married Martha Janece Reed.³ Pitts died on January 15, 1977 in Breckenridge, Stephens County, Texas, at age 49.¹ He was buried in Breckenridge Cemetery, Stephens County, Texas.⁴

     James Lowell Slade was known as Lowell.² He was born on June 21, 1939 in Bogalusa, Washington Parish, Louisiana.^2,1 He was the son of Lucius S. Slade and Alyse M. Moore.² James died on December 2, 1950 at age 11.¹ He was buried in Ponemah Cemetery, Bogalusa, Washington Parish, Louisiana.³

Note: Find-a-Grave has two entries for this child, one for Jimmie Lowell Slade and the other for James L Slade. Both have same dates. The tombstone has James L Slade on it.^3,1

     Pearline Burch was born in 1920 in Oak Hill East Cemetery, Palatka, Putnam County, Florida.² She was the daughter of Wilton Earnest Burch.^2,3
     Pearline married Lucius S. Slade, son of Adolphus D. Slade and Elizabeth Wells.² Lucius and Pearline divorced.⁴ Pearline died in 1961² and was buried in Palatka, Florida.²

     ³² Burtress Gladys Slade was born on January 13, 1919 in Lamar County, Mississippi.^1,4 She was the daughter of Emory Burtson Slade and Annie Rose Ladner.¹
     Burtress married first John P. Kersh.²
     Burtress married second Winston Megehee Ladner.³ Burtress died on August 5, 1971 at age 52.⁴ She was buried in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Hickory Grove, Pearl River County, Mississippi.⁴

     Lula Slade was born in June, 1883 in Marion County, Mississippi.² She was the daughter of Joseph Thomas Slade and Lena Ladner.¹ Lula died before 1910 does not appear in 1910 census.

     Lonnie Ottis Slade went by Ottis.³ He was born on May 4, 1910 in Lamar County, Mississippi.⁴ He was the son of Prentiss Ira Slade and Mary Loucinda Hill.²
     Lonnie married Annie Eloise Ortwein on October 3, 1932^1,5, the daughter of Minnie Lee Sisson & Carl Herman Ortwein.¹ Lonnie died on October 23, 1976 at age 66.^6,4 He was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.⁷

     Bidie Slade was born on November 1, 1903 in Lamar County, Mississippi.^1,2 She was the daughter of Prentiss Ira Slade and Mary Loucinda Hill.¹ Bidie died on December 8, 1914 at age 11.² She was buried in Boone Cemetery, Lamar County, Mississippi.²

     Mary Helen White was born circa 1904 in Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur L. White.
     Mary married Albert Forrest Slade, son of Prentiss Ira Slade and Mary Loucinda Hill, circa 1925.¹

     Forrest White Slade was born on December 6, 1926 in Georgia.¹ He was the son of Albert Forrest Slade and Mary Helen White.²
     Forrest married Daisy Estelle [?].¹ Forrest died on April 10, 2016 at age 89¹ and was buried in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.¹ His obituary read as follows:

      Forrest White Slade, age 89 of Murfreesboro, TN, Korean War & WWII Veteran and a recipient of two Purple Hearts, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 10, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his wife Daisy Estelle Slade; son Roger Slade; & brother, Robert (Vie) Slade.

Survivors include his son, Stuart (Janie) Slade; siblings, Frank (Betty Lou) Slade & Betty Ann Cleghorn; two granddaughters, Stormy Milewski & Autumn Slade; two great grandchildren, Arianna Milewski & Cricket Milewski.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Forrest’s life will be conducted on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 11:00 am with an hour visitation prior to service.

Burial will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens with military honors.¹

     Robert Eugene Slade was born on January 27, 1934 in Carroll County, Georgia.^1,2 He was the son of Albert Forrest Slade and Mary Helen White.¹ Robert died on December 21, 2005 in Paulding County, Georgia, at age 71.²

     Richard Decell Ladner was born on September 22, 1922 in Lamar County, Mississippi.² He was the son of W. R. Ladner and Toledo Slade.¹
     Richard married Euthema Foshee on April 21, 1946.³ Richard died on September 27, 1981 at age 59.² He was buried in Coal Town Cemetery, Purvis, Lamar County, Mississippi.²
