Gary was a graduate of Pace High School (class of 1984). He worked as a diesel mechanic at McKenzie Tank Line for over 20 years. Gary was a member of Woodbine United Methodist Church and loved when his family was all together.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Rupert and Marlene (Lee) Slade of Pace; his baby brother, Chris Slade; and his oldest brother, Jeffrey Slade of Jay.
Gary is survived by his brother, Randy Slade (Michelle) of Pace; sister-in-law, Marybeth Slade of Jay; nephew, Cory Slade (Amy) of Pace; and nieces: Ashley Slade of Jay, Kristen Slade (Bill) of Pace, Trinity Slade of Jay, and Linda Slade of Jay.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 4th at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton, from 5-7 pm. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 5th at 11:00 at the funeral home, with Rev. Cecil Jackson officiating.1
