     Louis Slade was born on July 18, 1921 in Georgia.^1,2 He was the son of Arthur Lorn Slade and Gussie Phillips.¹ Louis died on October 8, 1989 at age 68.² He was buried in Corinth Cemetery, Gwinnett County, Georgia.³

     Eddie T. Slade was born on June 27, 1932 in Georgia.¹ He was the son of Arthur Lorn Slade and Gussie Phillips.¹
     Eddie married Bronnell Kaney.² The daughter of Henry S. and Ada Carey Kaney.³ Eddie died on November 8, 2003 at age 71.^4,5 He was buried in Macon Memorial Park, Bibb County, Georgia.⁵

     Samuel Slade Barrett was born on January 13, 1860 in Pike County, Georgia.¹ He was the son of Thomas Jefferson Barrett and Minerva Ann Slade.¹
     Samuel married Ida Howell.² Samuel died on January 6, 1921 in Meansville, Pike County, Georgia, at age 60.³

     Charles Simon Barrett was born on January 28, 1866 in McDowell Township, Pike County, Georgia.¹ He was the son of Thomas Jefferson Barrett and Minerva Ann Slade.¹
     Charles married Alma Rucker, daughter of Caswell F. Rucker and Mary Frances Howell, on November 5, 1891.² Charles died in Pike County, Georgia.²

     Robert Lee Barrett was born on June 12, 1872 in Pike County, Georgia.¹ He was the son of Thomas Jefferson Barrett and Minerva Ann Slade.¹
     Robert married Mary Eugenia Aldredge on December 3, 1890 in Georgia.² Robert died on March 2, 1919 in Georgia at age 46 of Bright's disease and heart failure.^3,4 He was buried in Fincher Memorial Cemetery, Meansville, Pike County, Georgia.⁵

     Elizabeth Lavinia Barrett was known as Lizzie.² She was born on November 9, 1878 in Pike County, Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Barrett and Minerva Ann Slade.¹
     Elizabeth married William G. Holloway on December 14, 1898 in Georgia.³

     Eva Orr was born on June 30, 1892 in Washington County, Georgia.² She was the daughter of James Darby Orr and Lucy Peacock.³
     Eva married Alic Orien Slade, son of James William Slade and Caren R. Lewis.¹ Eva died on September 23, 1942 at age 50.⁴ She was buried in Zeta Cemetery, Tennille, Washington County, Georgia.⁴

     James Darby Orr was born on December 29, 1857 in Washington County, Georgia.¹
     James married Lucy Peacock on September 22, 1891.^1,2 James died on February 15, 1920 at age 62.^3,4 He was buried in Zeta Cemetery, Tennille, Washington County, Georgia.³

     Frank Edward Slade was born on July 9, 1920 in Georgia.^1,2 He was the son of Frank Alexander Slade and Annie Vivian Chapman.
     Frank married Annie Mae Sandefur on September 21, 1940.^3,1 Frank died on February 15, 1975 at age 54² and was buried in Marshallville City Cemetery, Marshallville, Macon, Georgia, USA.⁴

     Beverly Ann Rucker was born on September 10, 1932 in College Park, Fulton County, Georgia.²
     Beverly married Joseph Marvin Slade, son of William Marvin Slade and Laura Agnes Chapman.¹
     Beverly married second Ike Scott.² Beverly died on October 24, 1997 at age 65.³ She was buried in West View Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.² Her obituary read as follows:

SCOTT, BEVERLY SLADE, age 65, born September 10, 1932, in College Park Georgia, died October 24, 1997. She was a graduate of College Park High School and the University of Georgia. She lived the last eleven years in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she was a member of First United Methodist Church of Ormand Beach, PEO., Arts and Sciences Museum Guild, Christian Women Association, Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, and Panhellinic Council.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church of College Park, 3726 East Main Street, on Monday, October 27, 1997. Graveside services after church service at West View Cemetery.

Survivors include: husband, Ike Scott; sons, William Marvin Slade II (Providence Spina) of Tampa, Florida, Steve Rucker Slade and Christopher Hugh Slade, both of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Laura Elizabeth Slade and Thomas Jackson Slade; sister, Barbara Rucker Duncan; niece, Valerie Nelms, Fayetteville; niece, Dana Hughes of Macon, GA.

     Karl Von Emden McCranie was born on October 1, 1913 in Brantley County, Georgia.^1,2 He was the son of George F. McCranie and Ida Deborah Paulk.^3,2
     Karl married Mary Myrtle Slade, daughter of Enoch Marvin Slade and Kittie Mae Sappington.¹ Karl died on November 17, 1996 in Nashville, Berrien County, Georgia, at age 83^1,4 and was buried in Willacoochee Cemetery, Atkinson County, Georgia.⁵
