     Bathsheba Rickerson was born in 1810 in Georgia both parents were born in North Carolina.¹ She was the daughter of Jesse Ricketson and Polly Merritt. Bathsheba died on June 4, 1888 in Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia.²

     Charles Joseph Slade was born in August, 1860 in Washington County, Georgia.² He was the son of William F. Slade and Catherine Brantley.³ Charles Joseph Slade was a farmer.
     Charles married first Ella Griffin, daughter of Benjamin F. Griffin, circa 1882 in Georgia.⁴
     Charles married second Maude Della Meeks, daughter of John Harris Meeks and Ellen America Johnson, on June 2, 1906 in Johnson County, Georgia.^5,6

     Thomas Howell Slade was born on July 4, 1910 in Pike County, Georgia.² He was the son of William Samuel Slade and Matti Lou Howell.¹
     Thomas married Flora Belle Jackson on January 3, 1935 in Baconton, Mitchell County, Georgia.² Thomas Howell Slade was living in Baxley, Appling County, Georgia, at the time of his father's death on April 15, 1942.³ Thomas died on January 15, 1992 in Starke, Bradford County, Florida, at age 81.⁴ He was buried in Crosby Lake Cemetery, Bradford County, Florida.⁵

     Mamie Evelyn Slade was born on September 19, 1912 in Pike County, Georgia.^2,3 She was the daughter of William Samuel Slade and Matti Lou Howell.¹
     Mamie married first Arthur Drane Jordan, son of Roney E. Jordan and Mary Lou [?], on February 10, 1930 in Phenix City, Russell County, Alabama.²
     Mamie married second Clyde Whitefield Sinclair on September 6, 1936 in Brunswick, Glynn County, Georgia.² Mamie died on March 18, 1995 in Starke, Bradford County, Florida, at age 82.³ She was buried in Douglas, Coffee County, Georgia.⁴

     Martha Annette Slade was born on February 25, 1907 in Pike County, Georgia.² She was the daughter of William Samuel Slade and Matti Lou Howell.¹
     Martha married Needham King Hurst, son of Needham Washington Hurst and Ethelia King, on April 30, 1930 in Phenix City, Russell County, Alabama.² Martha Annette Slade and Needham King Hurst were living in April, 1942 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.³ Martha was widowed when her husband, Needham, died in 1967.⁴ Martha died in October, 1980 in Indianapolis, Indiana, at age 73.^5,6 She was buried in Washington Park North Cemetery, Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.⁴

     William Samiel Slade Jr. was born on April 13, 1919 in Pike County, Georgia.² He was the son of William Samuel Slade and Matti Lou Howell.¹ The unusual spelling of Samiel was in the family bible.³ William Samiel Slade Jr. was serving in the US Navy at time of his father's funeral. on April 15, 1942.⁴
     William married Margaret Ruth Holton.³ William died on April 18, 1984 in Baxley, Appling County, Georgia, at age 65.⁵

     Kate Elizabeth Slade was born in June, 1884 in Georgia Kate L in 1900 census.^1,2 She was the daughter of James William Slade and Caren R. Lewis.¹ Kate Elizabeth Slade was buried in Brownwood Cemetery, Sandersville, Washington County, Georgia.³

     Alic Orien Slade was born in March, 1887 in Georgia.¹ He was the son of James William Slade and Caren R. Lewis.
     Alic married Eva Orr, daughter of James Darby Orr and Lucy Peacock.² Alic died on January 28, 1919 in Washington County, Georgia, at age 31.^3,4 He was buried in Zeta Cemetery, Tennille, Washington County, Georgia.^5,4

     Ella Sandidge Furman was born in 1881 in Texas.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Furman.²
     Ella married Stephen Barr Huff, son of Nathan Harvey Huff and Mary Lucetta Whitten, circa 1903.¹ Ella Sandidge Furman died.³ She was buried in Fairlawn Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.³
