     Leon Linmere Slade was born on March 20, 1876 in Newaygo County, Michigan.^1,3 He was the son of Luther L. Slade and Cynthia L. Nelson.^4,5
     Leon married Fannie Van Fleet, daughter of Esther [?], on March 18, 1911 in Manistee, Manistee County, Michigan.¹ Leon Linmere Slade was registered for the military draft in World War I in 1917 in Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan.³ He was a locomotive engineer with the P.M. Railroad, Saginaw Division.³ Leon died on August 23, 1942 in Green Oak, Livingston County, Michigan, at age 66.⁶ He was buried in Rosedale Memorial Park, Tallmadge Twp, Ottawa County, Michigan.²

     Barbara Louise Slade was born on July 8, 1914 in Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan.^1,2 She was the daughter of Leon Linmere Slade and Fannie Van Fleet.¹
     Barbara married Walter James Kardux.³ Barbara died on June 11, 2014 in Muscatine, Muscatine County, Iowa, at age 99.²

     Neil F. Slade was born on December 2, 1918 in Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan.^2,3,4 He was the son of Leon Linmere Slade and Fannie Van Fleet.²
     Neil married Mardell Jean Riffle, daughter of Clarence E. Riffle and Mary Niles, on June 16, 1945 in Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County, South Dakota.⁵ Neil died on May 12, 1968 at age 49.⁴ He was buried in Hills of Rest Memorial Park, Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County, South Dakota.⁴

     Luther L. Slade was born on October 9, 1817 in New York.^1,2 He was the son of Ephraim Slade.³ Luther L. Slade was born circa 1818 in New York.³
     Luther married Cynthia L. Nelson, daughter of Ephraim Nelson.⁴ Luther died on December 4, 1904 at age 87.⁵ He was buried in Big Prairie-Everett Cemetery, Newaygo County, Michigan.²

     Henry George Slade was born on May 23, 1886 in Smith County, Kansas.^1,3 He was the son of William George Slade and Malissa S. Craig.¹
     Henry married Anna B. [?]² Henry George Slade was a telegraph operator for the railroad.⁴ He was registered for the military draft in World War I on September 12, 1918 in Carroll County, Illinois.³ He was registered for World War 2 draft in 1942 while living in Savanna, Carroll County, Illinois, at 629 Chicago Avenue.²

     Evalyn G. Slade was born in September, 1887 in Kansas.¹ She was the daughter of William George Slade and Malissa S. Craig.¹
     Evalyn married John H. Dierdorf.² Evalyn died in May, 1975 in Boulder, Boulder County, Colorado, at age 87 [last residence].³

     Lelia M. Slade was born in June, 1891 in Kansas.¹ She was the daughter of William George Slade and Malissa S. Craig.¹

     Ralph Leslie Slade was born on March 4, 1892 in Smith County, Kansas.^1,2 He was the son of William George Slade and Malissa S. Craig.¹ Ralph Leslie Slade was registered for the military draft in World War I on June 5, 1917 in Kansas.² Ralph died on February 16, 1935 at age 42 and was buried in Fairmount Cemetery, Denver County, Colorado.³

     Charles F. Slade was born in September, 1866 in Maryland.¹ He was the son of unnamed father Slade.²
     Charles married Zora E. Bowlby on November 26, 1893 in Union County, Oregon.³ Charles F. Slade was a caretaker at the water company in 1920.⁴

     Francis Xavier Slade was born on October 3, 1901 in Baker County, Oregon.^1,2 He was the son of Charles F. Slade and Zora E. Bowlby.²

     Francis married Emma Nevada Berger on April 1, 1945.³ Francis died on July 18, 1985 in Carson City, Ormsby County, Nevada, at age 83.⁴ He was buried in Lone Mountain Cemetery, Carson City, Nevada.⁵

     George W. Slade was born in January, 1863 in Maryland.² He was the son of unnamed father Slade.³ George W. Slade was a ship builder in 1921.³

     Norine Hill was born on June 14, 1935 in Brenham, Washington County, Texas.² The daughter of Norbert Jefferson Hill and Gertrude Lauter Hill.²
     Norine married John Rupert Slade, son of Donald Seaborne Slade Sr. and Alline Walker, on June 20, 1959.¹ Norine died on September 18, 2013 in Katy, Texas, at age 78² and was buried in Waco Memorial Park, Robinson, McLennan County, Texas.² Her obituary read as follows:

      Norine Hill Slade, 78, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 in Katy, Texas surrounded by her family. Graveside Services will be 2:30 Thursday, September 19, at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 10:30 to 12 noon Thursday morning, September 19, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Drive.

Norine was born in Brenham and was a lifelong resident of Waco. She worked at Central Transportation Systems for 53 years. Norine was a devoted member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John R. Slade

Norine is survived by her son, Bill Slade, and wife, Jaime; and her two grandchildren, Houston and Walker Slade, all of Katy.²
