     James David Slade was born on October 20, 1952 in Mississippi.2 He was the son of Partin Slade and Jane Clayton.2
     James married second Linsay Coulter, daughter of Larry Breland Coulter.2 James died on September 2, 2016 at age 63.1 His obituary read as follows:

      James David Slade, 63, died on Friday, September 2, 2016 after battling cancer for several years.
Mr. Slade was born October 20, 1953 in Mississippi and has been a resident Lyman, MS. Mr. Slade studied at Harrison Central High School and then he served in the U.S. Army in the early 1970’s. Before being forced to retire due to disabilities, he worked several years at Halter Marine at Port Bienville in Pearlington, MS. He enjoyed drawing, painting, fishing, motorcycling and working with wood..
Mrs. Slade was preceded in death by his mother, Jane C. Nichols and his wife, Linsay Coulter;
Survivors include his father, Partin Slade; children, Dayna Phillips of Georgia, Christopher Slade of Texas and Joseph Slade (Kris) of California; his siblings, Mike Slade (Pamela) of Lyman, Gary Slade of Lyman and Cathy King (Hiram) of Woolmarket; and his 7 grandchildren.

     H. married Marcia A. Hoffman.2 H. died on September 6, 2016 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.2 He was buried in Saint Aloysius Cemetery (New), Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.2 His obituary read as follows:

      H. Richard “Dick” Slade, 72, of Pottstown, husband of Marcia A. (Hoffman) Slade, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Henry I. and Susie (Keri) Slade.

Dick was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War era. He was a life member of the Pottstown Elks Lodge #814, member of the Boyertown Hook and Ladder Fire Company, Twin Ponds Golf Course and Brookside Country Club. He worked for PECO for many years as a lineman and troubleman, retiring in 2001. He spent a lifetime perfecting his golf game, loved the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, and country music.

Surviving with his wife of 15 years are sons Ben Boyles, husband of Amy and Kris Boyles, husband of Colleen; sister Nancy Reimert, wife of Forrest; grandchildren Keara O’Brien-Pol, Dillon Boyles, and Brianna Boyles; nieces Michelle Reimert, Christine Crater, and nephew Henry Reimert.

A funeral service will be Friday, Sept. 9, 11:00AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 1020 W. Phila. Ave., Gilbertsville. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius New Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30AM to 10:45AM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Dick’s name to Vets For Vets, 32-34 4th St., Pennsburg, PA 18073.2

Eva is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her brothers, Paul Zimmer (San Diego, CA) and Shine Zimmer (Fargo, ND); sister Fern Martin (Bonice, MD); son Roscoe C. Slade, Jr. (Richland, WA); daughters Blanche Beck (Kennewick, WA) and Alberta Denesen (Renton, WA); 4 grandchildren: Clinton Burton, Theresa Burton, Roscoe Slade, III and Angela Julson; and 8 great-grandchildren: Jamie, Malory, Emily, Jazzlynn, Tyler, Caden, Madison and Chloe.

Eva had a zest for life and loved being with friends and family. Her favorite activities included playing pinochle, watching Mariner and Dust Devil baseball games, and playing the slot machines at the casino.

Rosary will be Wednesday, January 25th, at 6:30 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 26th, 1:00 p.m., with a gathering following the service. Burial will be in Olalla, Washington.
