     Frederick married Margaret Esther Pfrommer, daughter of Frederick K. Pfrommer and Margaret E. Hayes, on October 29, 1930 in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan.2 At the time of his death, Frederick was living in Estero, Lee County, Florida.4 Frederick died on December 28, 1980 in Prince William County, Virginia, at age 81.4 He was buried in St. Boniface Cemetery, Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana.4

     Gordon married Annetha [?].2 Gordon died on January 31, 2015 at age 671 and was buried in East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee.1 His obituary read as follows:

      SLADE, GORDON E. - age 67 of Corryton, TN, entered into eternal rest on January 31, 2015. Retired from TVA.

He is survived by: his devoted and loving wife, Annetha; sons, Jason and Eric; sister, Cynthia White; grandchildren, 8; sisters-in-law, 3; brother-in-law, 1; several other family members and friends.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at McDonald Dr. Church of Christ, 3800 McDonald Dr. Knoxville, TN followed by funeral service.

Interment will be held on Friday, February 6th at East TN Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. John Sevier Highway at 9:30a.m. The service will conclude with military honors.
