     Wesley married Ellen Hoffert, daughter of Absolom Hoffert and Nancy Fantz, on August 14, 1873 in Darke County, Ohio.^1,3
     Wesley married second Ida Elizabeth Shields on May 12, 1906 in Ohio.⁴ Wesley died on March 25, 1926 at age 76¹ and was buried in Abbottsville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio.¹ According to newspaper article/obituary, Wesley Slade signed a will Jan 2, 1913.²

     George Washington Slade was born on May 24, 1853 in Van Buren Twp, Darke County, Ohio.¹ He was the son of John Slade and Eliza Ann Weaver.²
     George married Sarah Elizabeth Mettler on June 21, 1877 in Darke County, Ohio.³ In 1880 census, lived in Van Buren Twp, Darke Co., Ohio. Called Thomas. In 1900.²
     George married Nettie Alice Imler on January 5, 1918 in Ohio.² George died on February 13, 1935 in Greenville Twp, Darke County, Ohio, at age 81.¹ He was buried in Abbottsville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio.¹

     Eliza Ann Slade was born circa 1856 in Van Buren Twp, Darke County, Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of John Slade and Eliza Ann Weaver.²
     Eliza married Isaac D. Robeson on November 12, 1873 in Darke County, Ohio.¹ Eliza died in 1895.¹ She was buried in Abbottsville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio.¹

     John Studebaker was born on April 20, 1844 in Darke County, Ohio.¹
     John married Amanda Jane Slade, daughter of John Slade and Eliza Ann Weaver, on September 17, 1868 in Ohio.¹ John died on April 15, 1929 in Greenville Twp, Darke County, Ohio, at age 84.¹ He was buried in Abbottsville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio.¹

     Delilah married Christopher Slade, son of Abraham Slade and Ann Mutchner, on November 27, 1816 in Baltimore County, Maryland.³ Delilah died on May 7, 1846 in White Hall, Harford County, Maryland.² She was buried in West Liberty UMC Cemetery, Whitehall, Baltimore County, Maryland.²

     Amanda M. Lytle was born on May 31, 1833 in Blackhorse, Harford County, Maryland.²
     Amanda married Abraham Slade, son of Christopher Slade and Delilah Jane Creighton, on January 23, 1855 in Maryland.² Amanda M. Lytle was known as Amelia M. Lytle.³ She was listed as Amelia M Slade in the 1860 census.³ Amanda died on April 15, 1897 at age 63⁴ and was buried in Columbus Cemetery, Adams County, Illinois.⁴

     James Oric Lytle was born on September 25, 1819 in Blackhorse, Harford County, Maryland.² He was the son of Thomas Lytle.
     James married Ann Slade, daughter of Christopher Slade and Delilah Jane Creighton, on January 16, 1854 in Baltimore County, Maryland.¹ It is possible that James is the brother of Amelia Lytle, wife of Abraham Slade, who was living nearby in 1860.³ James Oric Lytle was registered for the Civil War on June 25, 1864 in Burton, Adams County, Illinois.² James died in 1898 in Columbus, Adams County, Illinois.¹ He was buried in Columbus Cemetery, Adams County, Illinois.¹

     Ariel Slade was born circa 1802 in Baltimore County, Maryland.¹ She was the daughter of Abraham Slade and Ann Mutchner.¹
     Ariel married Walter G. Walker.² Ariel died on February 23, 1875.³ She was buried in Mount Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Freeland, Baltimore County, Maryland.³

     Josiah Slade was born on December 15, 1795 in Talbott's Hall, My Ladies Manor, Lot 3, Baltimore County, Maryland.¹ He was the son of Abraham Slade and Ann Mutchner.¹
     Josiah married Mary Elizabeth Dunnuck on January 30, 1830 in Baltimore County, Maryland.¹ Josiah died on January 6, 1832 in Maryland at age 36.¹

     Ella Slade was born in 1852 in Baltimore County, Maryland.¹ She was the daughter of William Slade and Julia P Lytle.¹ Ella died in 1868.¹

     Mary F. Slade was born in 1849 in Baltimore County, Maryland.¹ She was the daughter of William Slade and Julia P Lytle.¹ Mary died in 1853.¹

     Rebecca married Isaac Slade, son of John Slade and Eliza Ann Weaver, on May 10, 1882 in Darke County, Ohio.¹ Rebecca died on February 17, 1912 in Greenville, Darke County, Ohio, at age 68.¹ She was buried in Abbottsville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio.¹

     Francis Allen Cox was born on September 7, 1881 in Ross Co., Ohio.¹
     Francis married Lucy Ann Slade, daughter of Jonas Hamilton Slade and Isabelle D. Dungan, on January 25, 1909 in Darke County, Ohio.¹ Francis died on December 3, 1913 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, at age 32.¹ He was buried in Abbottsville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio.¹
