     Vivian Inez Dyke went by Inez. She was born on January 2, 1914 in Midland, Sebastian County, Arkansas,², the daughter of Pearl Shores & Howard Lyman Dyke.¹
     Vivian married John Dumas Slade, son of Oliver Harming Slade and Mary Emma Gary, in October, 1934.³ Dumas & Inez divorced and In 1947, Inez married second, Al Elio Corazzi.⁴ Vivian died on October 28, 1999 in Santa Fe, Santa Fe County, New Mexico, at age 85.⁴ She was buried in Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, Santa Fe County, New Mexico.⁵ Her obituary read as follows:

      Age 85 of Santa Fe, died Thursday, October 28, 1999. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Al Corazzi. Inez is survived by her daughter, Debbie Corazzi and partner, Alyce Roybal, of Santa Fe; son, Dumes Winston Slade of California; sister, Lillian Taylor, age 97, of Oregon; 3 grandchildren; and many loving friends and family. She loved to travel and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 1, 1999 at the Kingdom of Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Richards Ave. at Vereda Baja.      Dumas Winston Slade went by Winston. He was born on April 25, 1937 in Santa Fe, Santa Fe County, New Mexico.^1,2,3 He was the son of John Dumas Slade and Vivian Inez Dyke. Winston started at a young age working at the Slade Dairy driving delivery routes.⁴

     Dumas married third Marie Louise Goings, daughter of Elmer Goings and Lily Brouse, on January 16, 1979 in Clark County, Nevada.⁹ Dumas Winston Slade (an unknown value) in 2008.¹⁰ He (an unknown value.) Dumas died on August 6, 2020 in Merced, Merced, California, at age 83.¹¹

     Sovola Marie Mitchell was born in 1919 in Roy, Harding County, New Mexico.¹ She was the daughter of Hugh Chester Mitchell and Elizabeth Agusta Nelson.²
     Sovola married John Dumas Slade, son of Oliver Harming Slade and Mary Emma Gary, in 1940.³ Sovola died on October 31, 2008 in Santa Fe, Santa Fe County, New Mexico.⁴ She was buried in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Santa Fe, Santa Fe County, New Mexico.^1,5 Her obituary read as follows:

      Sovola Slade Age 89, died peacefully in her home October 31, 2008 as a result of a massive stroke on June 8, 2008. She was born in Roy, NM to Hugh and Elizabeth Mitchell and moved to Santa Fe in 1937. She married Dumas Slade in 1940 and they were instrumental in starting Slade's Dairy. She was a very generous and loving person, an avid gardener and loved baking especially for her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dumas Slade; her brother, Edd Mitchell; niece, Sandra Bostian; and nephew, Harper Mitchell. She is survived by her stepson, Dumas Winston Slade (Marie) of French camp, CA; brother, Chet Mitchell, of Taos; sister, Elaine Olson, of Santa Fe; nieces: Mary Hughes (Randy) of Austin TX, Mimi Charles Mitchell (Bill) of Maui, HI, Marion Sturges of Taos; nephews: Roy Olson of Santa Fe, Mark Olson (Teri) of Las Cruces, Matt Mitchell (Esther) of Roy NM, John Summers (Crystal) of Taos, and Wesley Summers of Albuquerque, NM; seven grandnieces, and three grand nephews. A Memorial Service to commemorate the life of Sovola Slade will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2008, 11 a.m. at The Rodeo Road Baptist Church, Corner of Richards Ave. and Rodeo Rd., in Santa Fe. Her remains will be laid to rest at The Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Santa Fe.      Arthur Saint Claire Dundas was born on August 3, 1889 in Table Rock, Pawnee County, Nebraska.² He was the son of Merrick Alvin Dundas and Columbia Gem Hollenback.³
     Arthur married Mary Ann Slade, daughter of John Taylor Slade and Lurinda Plank, circa 1929.⁴
     Arthur Saint Claire Dundas registered for the draft for World War II in 1942, while living at Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona.² Arthur died on February 20, 1948 in Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona, at age 58.³ He was buried in Mount Marion Cemetery, Strawn, Palo Pinto County, Texas.⁵

     Clara Griffin was born on August 20, 1899 in Union Parish, Louisiana.¹ She was the daughter of James Monroe Griffin and Mattie A. Torrence.^2,3
     Clara married Alton Lee Slade, son of James Jethro Slade and Lucy Ann Montgomery, on January 9, 1921. Clara died on August 3, 1945 in Louisiana at age 45.⁴ She was buried in Conway Cemetery, Conway, Union Parish, Louisiana.⁵

     Ramsey Venoit Slade was known by his intials R. V.¹ He was born on January 12, 1923 in Louisiana.² He was the son of Alton Lee Slade and Clara Griffin.
     Ramsey married Ernestine Odom, daughter of Heard Odom and Audrie Turnage, on July 9, 1939.¹ R. V. served in the U. S. Army in World War II in Europe. Following the war he returned home and took a job at Commercial Solvents, Inc., Sterlington, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana where he worked for several years.
     When R. V.'s mother, Clara, died August 3, 1945, he inherited her part of the Truxno store. When Bryan, Lee's brother and partner, died April 5, 1962, R. V. bought out Lee and Bryan's part in the store. Ernestine and R. V. operated the store from then until R. V. had a heart attack in 1985. After that the store was rented by Juan A. Burnside for his daughter, Laura, in 1987 for about three years. The store was then rented by Doodle Harvey for his daughter, Bonnie, for 1991, 1992 and 1993. However, the store burned February 6, 1993 and the site is now a vacant lot on the southwest corner of the crossroads.³ R.V. died on September 12, 1997 in Union Parish, Louisiana, at age 74.¹ Ramsey Venoit Slade was buried in Conway Cemetery, Conway, Union Parish, Louisiana.⁴

     Lila Mae Slade was born on September 13, 1886 in Union Parish, Louisiana.^1,2 She was the daughter of James Jethro Slade and Lucy Ann Montgomery. Lila Mae Slade was known as Mamie.²
     Lila married James Vince Garrison on December 17, 1912.² Mamie and Vince Garrison operated a hotel in Farmerville.³ Lila died on September 19, 1916 in Louisiana at age 30.^4,5 She was buried in Conway Cemetery, Conway, Union Parish, Louisiana.⁵

     James Carl Slade is known as J. C.² He was born on January 21, 1921 in Louisiana.^3,4 He was the son of James Herman Slade and Ollie Poole.²
     James married Georgia L. Smith.¹
     James married second Margaret [?].⁵ J. C. served in the Army in World War II.² James died on April 16, 2011 in Monroe, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, at age 90 [last residence].⁶

     William Garland Slade was known as Budgey.¹ He was born on January 9, 1925 in Louisiana.² He was the son of James Herman Slade and Ollie Poole.³
     William married Elenor Hale.⁴ William Garland Slade resided in Swartz, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, in 1982.⁵ He (an unknown value) in 2001.⁶ William died on November 16, 2002 in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, at age 77.²

     Allie Griffin was born on April 5, 1902 in Union Parish, Louisiana.² She was the daughter of James Monroe Griffin and Mattie A. Torrence.^3,4
     Allie married Oral Bryan Slade, son of James Jethro Slade and Lucy Ann Montgomery, on July 19, 1919. Allie died on July 11, 1961 at age 59.² She was buried in Conway Cemetery, Conway, Union Parish, Louisiana.⁵

     Susie Ray Slade was born on August 25, 1926 in Union Parish, Louisiana.^1,2 She was the daughter of Oral Bryan Slade and Allie Griffin.
     Susie married M. William Thomas.³ Susie Ray Slade resided in El Dorado, Union County, Arkansas, in 1982.⁴ Susie died on February 3, 2009 at age 82 and was buried in Arlington Cemetery, El Dorado, Union County, Arkansas.²

     Lula Mae Slade was born on April 21, 1920 in Louisiana.¹ She was the daughter of Oral Bryan Slade and Allie Griffin.
     Lula married Taylor H Alford Jr. on August 1, 1935.²
     Lula married second Lonnie Cross.¹ Lula died on December 21, 1971 in Union Parish, Louisiana, at age 51.

     Edwin Turpie Slade was born on April 7, 1896 in El Dorado, Union County, Arkansas. He was the son of Gideon Edgar Slade and Martha Matilda Brown.
     Edwin married Edna Hearin, daughter of Franklin Hearin and Jessie [?], in 1916.¹ Edwin died on May 18, 1969 in Longview, Gregg County, Texas, at age 73. He was buried in Arlington Cemetery, El Dorado, Union County, Arkansas.²

     Milton Burke Slade was born on July 10, 1898 in El Dorado, Union County, Arkansas. He was the son of Gideon Edgar Slade and Martha Matilda Brown.
     Milton married Marie Illma Johnson on August 24, 1924 in Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas.¹ They divorced and had no children.²
     Milton married second Anne Moles on October 4, 1934 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.³
     Milton Burke Slade registered for the draft for World War II in 1942, while living at Fayetteville, Arkansas, Agent for Aetna Life Insurance Company.⁴ They were living at 523 Rebecca.⁴ Milton died on July 26, 1977 in El Dorado, Arkansas, at age 79.⁵ He was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, El Dorado, Union County, Arkansas.⁶
