     George Henry Slade was born on August 14, 1874 in Yeovil, Somerset, England.2 He was the son of George Slade and Elizabeth K. Hamlin.3 George Henry Slade immigrated from Liverpool, England, aboard the "City of Berlin", arriving on September 20, 1889 to Port of New York, New York.2
     George married Florence Emily Hickman on October 12, 1899 in Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts,3, the daughter of Sarah Bursnall & George William Hickman.3 George Henry Slade resided in Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware, on January 29, 1918; at 316 N Jackson Street.2 He was registered for the military draft in World War I on September 12, 1918 in Wilmington, Delaware, living at 204 East 8th Street.4 George died on April 8, 1941 at age 66.5 He was buried in Emmanuel Methodist Episcopal Cemetery, Penns Grove, Salem County, New Jersey.6

Note: There is a descrepency in death dates. The tombstone has 1874-1849, Find-a-grave has July 20, 1949 as date of death, but Social Security Death Index has Apr 8, 1941, both agree on birth date of Aug 14, 1874, England.5,6

     Felix Joseph Slade was born on August 6, 1788 in Lambeth, Surrey, England.2 He was the son of Robert Slade Esq. and Elizabeth Foxcroft.3,4 Felix Joseph Slade was baptized on August 30, 1788 in Lambeth, Surrey; at St. Mary's Church.5,2 Felix was a collector of glass, books and engravings, a fellow of the Society of Antiquaries 1866 and a philanthropist who endowed chairs of fine art (professorships) at Oxford University and Cambridge University, and at University College London, where he also endowed scholarships which formed the beginning of the Slade School of Art founded 1871. His fine collections of glass, books, and engravings were given to the British Museum.1 Felix died on March 29, 1868 at age 79.1 He was buried in West Norwood Cemetery, Lambeth, Greater London, England.1

Member of the Common Council, City of London.8 He purchased The Manor House, Kennsinton, which he re-named Walcot Place.8 Robert was named the Secretary of the Irish Society, and friend of The Chevalier D'Eon.8 Robert was honored with the Freedom of the City of Londonderry, with presentation of a Gold Snuff Box.8 Leased a portion of land at Kenninton from Sir William East. This was the beginning of the Kennington Lane Holding. on July 23, 1802.9 Robert Slade Esq. was land He purchased land at Kennsington and Lambeth (now Brixton) and developed the same in 1804.8 Robert and Randle Jackson bought together from Col. Boscawen 3 fields or Closes of land near the Washway in Lambeth Dean, 23 acres. Later dividing the land 11 1/2 acres each. on July 23, 1804.9 Bought the White Horse Public House from William Angel.9 Robert died on August 26, 1835 in St. Mary Cemetery, Lambeth, Surrey, England, at age 86.1,10 He was buried in St. Mary's Churchyard, Lambeth, Greater London, England.1

He also practiced in France.4 William became a trustee of Surrey and Sussex Roads.3 He served in as Lieut.-Colonel Commandant of the Loyal and Christchurch Volunteers in 1807.3 He was a candidate for Parliment for the Borough of Honiton, but was unsuccessful.3 William died on January 10, 1858 in Walcott Place, Lambeth, Surrey, England, at age 77.1
