     Margaret Elizabeth Sherwood was born on February 11, 1907 in Bradford, McKean County, Pennsylvania.² She was the daughter of Earl A. Sherwood and Ida M. Barron.^3,2
     Margaret married Guy Miller Slade, son of Henry Guy Slade and Hattie Elenia Miller, on May 5, 1928.¹ Margaret died in 1995⁴ and was buried in Elmlawn Cemetery, Kenmore, Erie County, New York.⁴

     William Slade was born on February 15, 1866 in England.^1,2
     William married Fannie E. Dowding.³ William died in 1937.⁴ He was buried in North Burial Ground, Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island.⁴

     Marian E. Hock was born circa 1912 in Williamsville, Erie County, New York.² She was the daughter of Mary and Louis J. Hock.²
     Marian married Harold Edwin Slade, son of Henry Guy Slade and Hattie Elenia Miller.¹ Marian died on August 2, 2000.² Her obituary read as follows:

      Marian E. Slade, a florist at Hocks Flower Shop in North Tonawanda for 75 years, died Wednesday (Aug. 2, 2000) in Inter-Community Memorial Hospital, Newfane. She was 89.

The former Marian Hock was born in Williamsville, the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Hock. She worked in her family's flower shop for many years and in later years she was self-employed as a florist in Wilson.

Mrs. Slade was very active for 20 years in the ministry of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

She is predeceased by her husband, Harold E., who died in 1998.

Mrs. Slade is survived by two sons, Ronald H. of North Tonawanda and Walter; three daughters, Elaine T. Rokosky and Linda Fritzke, both of North Tonawanda; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the Jehovah's Witnesses, Ransomville Congregation, 1836 Langdon Road, Ransomville. Burial will be private.

     George William Slade was born circa 1864 in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England.^2,3 He was the son of George Slade and Selina Eliza Guy.¹ George William Slade immigrated with an unknown person and Selina Eliza Guy from Mrs. G. Slade, aged 30, accompanied by a boy aged 3 and a girl aged 2 (likely George Wm & Selina), embarked from Liverpool on the S.S. Nova Scotian arriving Quebec City on July 21, 1867 to Quebec City, Canada, on July 21, 1867.⁴
     George married Annie Goodes, daughter of Thomas Goodes and Selina Webb, on June 5, 1889 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.² George died on March 13, 1948.⁵ He was buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.⁵

     Beatrice Maud Slade Had 3 sons: Harold S. Leckie, 1896; Claud P. Leckie, 1898; and William K. Leckie, 1900. She was born circa June 2, 1870 in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada.^1,2 She was the daughter of George Slade and Selina Eliza Guy.^1,3
     Beatrice married William Henry Leckie on May 23, 1894 in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada.⁴ He was the son of Jane Perring and John Leckie.² About a year after they married, they relocated to Vancouver. Beatrice died on June 5, 1954.⁵ She was buried in Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.⁵

     Rebecca Joudrey was born circa 1845 in Nova Scotia, Canada.
     Rebecca married George Slade, son of Thomas Slade and Margaret Tattrie, on June 21, 1863 in River John, Pictou, Nova Scotia.¹ Rebecca died before 1884.

     George Archibald Slade was born on May 6, 1876 in Tatamagouche, Colchester County, Nova Scotia, Canada.¹ He was the son of George Slade and Rebecca Joudrey.¹
     George married Margaret O. Mattatall, daughter of Thomas Mattatall and Susan Doyle, on October 15, 1902 in Lake Mattatall, Colchester County, Nova Scotia, Canada.² George Archibald Slade was registered for the military draft in World War I on September 12, 1918 in Snoqualmie Pct, King County, Washington.³ George died on June 10, 1960 at age 84.¹ He was buried in Hawthorne Memorial Park, Mount Vernon, Skagit County, Washington.¹

     Margaret O. Mattatall was born in 1883 in Lake Mattatall, Colchester County, Nova Scotia, Canada.² She was the daughter of Thomas Mattatall and Susan Doyle.³
     Margaret married George Archibald Slade, son of George Slade and Rebecca Joudrey, on October 15, 1902 in Lake Mattatall, Nova Scotia.¹ Margaret died in 1965.² She was buried in Hawthorne Memorial Park, Mount Vernon, Skagit County, Washington.²

     George A. Slade Jr. was born on April 18, 1904 in King County, Washington.^1,2 He was the son of George Archibald Slade and Margaret O. Mattatall.¹ George died in December, 1980 in Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, at age 76.²

     Mary Julia Donovan was born on December 22, 1901 in New York.¹ She was the daughter of Daniel Donovan and Rose Holman.²
     Mary married Theodore Kendall Slade, son of Foster Cornell Slade and Elizabeth McBride Crane, on June 1, 1925 in Rochester, Monroe County, New York.² Mary died on June 2, 1984 in Dansville, Livingston County, New York, at age 82. She was buried in St. Joseph Old Cemetery, Wayland, Steuben County, New York.³
