      SLADE, Lillian Rose Of Grand Blanc; age 92; died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Oaks at Woodfield. Lillian was born in Newburgh, New York on May 17, 1924, the daughter of the late Frank and Regina DeMarco and was a resident of Waterford, Michigan and retired to Florida, living many happy years there. She married Vern Slade in New York in 1945. Lillian was a Branch Manager of Drayton Plains office of First Federal Savings. Surviving are son, David and wife Sherry; grandchildren, Haley, Jason (Stacy); great-grandchildren, Olivia, Carter, Maxwell and Leland; sister, Regina (Jean). She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern in 1998, one sister and two brothers. Lillian was laid to rest next to her husband, Vern, at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
