     Daniel Slade was born on August 22, 1861 in Chestnut Bridge, Onondaga County, New York.¹ He was the son of Charles Slade and Jane Potter.^2,3 Daniel Slade was New Tag circa 1864 in New York.² Daniel died on February 25, 1929 at age 67.¹ He was buried in Willow Hill Cemetery, Frankfort, Marshall County, Kansas.¹

     Frank Arnold Slade was born on September 24, 1885 in Unadilla, Otsego County, New York.¹ He was the son of Frederick A. Slade and Philena E. Edwards.²
     Frank married Jennie M. Nickerson on November 18, 1916 in Otsego County, New York,³, the daughter of J M Nickerson & Frances C Paugh.³ Frank Arnold Slade was registered for World War 2 draft in 1942 while living in Endwell, Broome County, New York.¹
     Frank married Josephine Holford.^4,5 Daughter of Elizabeth Jane Wheeler & William Lewis Holford.⁴ Frank died in 1961.⁵ He was buried in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott, Broome County, New York.⁵

     Elizabeth Rose Slade was born circa 1921 in Kansas.¹ She was the daughter of David Lauren Slade and Ella Catherine Andrews.^1,2

     Ella Catherine Andrews was born circa 1903 in St. Louis, Missouri.¹ She was the daughter of Norman Andrews and Rose Kathmann.^3,4
     Ella married David Lauren Slade, son of Stephen Slade and Agnes Hope Keiller.¹ Ella died on March 14, 2000.⁵ Her obituary read as follows:

     David Lauren Slade Jr. was born on January 26, 1923 in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas.^1,2 He was the son of David Lauren Slade and Ella Catherine Andrews.¹
     David married Billie L. Dickson, daughter of Les Dickson and Eva Stringer, on April 28, 1946 in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada. David Lauren Slade Jr. resided in Orange, California, in 2005.³ David died on September 1, 2014 in Linda Loma, Mendocino County, California, at age 91² and was buried in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside County, California.² His obituary read as follows:

      DAVID LAUREN SLADE, 91, moved on from the VA Loma Linda Hospital to be with Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 1, 2014. He was born on January 26, 1923 in Wichita, KS to David and Ella Slade. In 1946 he married Billie L. Dickson and enjoyed a 60 year marriage. Together they raised four children: Stephen, Stanley, Sharrie, and Shauna. David was a U.S. Navy pilot for 25 years and retired as a Lieutenant Commander. He served in WWII and fought in Korea and received several medals including the Navy Commendation Medal with the Combat "V" for valor, and the Air Medal. David is survived by his four children, and their families and his caretaker/wife Mary Jane Rubino, and her two daughters and their families. Surviving brother Norman Slade resides in Kansas. Funeral services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on September 22, at 1:30 pm. All who loved David are welcome to attend his memorial. David and Billie also loved and leave behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren as a legacy of God's blessings in their lives. Both David and Billie would want all to know this Bible verse: "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Philippians 1:21). We thank our parents for their love towards us and most importantly their love of God.

     William J. Slade was born on February 9, 1862 in Alabama.^1,2 He was the son of unknown Slade. Living with William Jordan 62, b GA.³ He enlisted in the Texas Infantry April 28, 1898 in Waco, Texas and served until Nov 9, 1898, when he was discharged in Dallas.⁴ He enlisted again in the Texas Infantry July 10, 1917 in Fort Worth, Texas and was discharged Sep 21, 1917 in Fort Worth.⁴ William died on August 28, 1947 in Fresno County, California, at age 85 mother's maiden name Jordan.⁵ He was buried in Liberty Veterans Cemetery, Fresno, Fresno County, California.¹

     Dennis Frederick Harlow was born on January 1, 1949 in Richmond, Virginia.² He was the son of Curtis Edward Harlow and Kathleen Marcella Duke.²
     Dennis married Carolyn Lavonne Tinnel on December 14, 1971 in Richmond, Henrico Co., Virginia.³ Dennis died on October 6, 2016 at age 67² and was buried in Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, Henrico County, Virginia.² His obituary read as follows:

      Dennis Frederick Harlow was born January 1, 1949, in Richmond, VA. He went to his eternal rest on October 6, 2016 at Hanover Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Curtis and Kathleen Harlow, and his sister, Kathleen Drake. He is survived by a sister, Patricia Armstrong (Rich), and brothers, Anthony Harlow, Michael Harlow, Stephen Harlow (Terri), Timothy Harlow (Colleen), Thomas Harlow (Connie), Patrick Harlow, and Vincent Harlow (Janet). He is also survived by several cousins including David Duke (Elsie), and a number of nieces and nephews. Jackie Capehart, a close friend of many years, also survives. Dennis was happiest when working and spent 40 years working at Southern Materials Gravel Company, which later was sold to other gravel companies. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 12, from 1-2 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 12 at 3 p.m. at Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, VA.      Arthur MacDonald Slade was born on December 17, 1917 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.^1,2 He was the son of Arthur Percival Slade and Emma Blanche MacDonald.² Arthur was a Presbyterian.² Arthur died on August 15, 1996 in Canada at age 78.³
