     Margie Helen Debuhr was born circa 1917.²
     Margie married William Corbett Slade Jr., son of William Corbett Slade and Louise Bennett Stuart, on November 11, 1945.^1,3 Margie died on April 15, 1982.² She was buried in South Park Cemetery, Roswell, Chaves County, New Mexico.²

     Alta B. Six was born on September 10, 1879 in Illinois and both of her parents were born in Illinois.² She was the daughter of William Six and Martha Young.¹
     Alta married Seldon O. Slade, son of Abraham Slade and Amanda M. Lytle, on October 30, 1901 in Brown County, Illinois.¹ Alta died on January 5, 1966 at age 86.² She was buried in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Adams County, Illinois.²

     Fulton Davis Slade was born on April 18, 1911 in Mississippi.² He was the son of Frank Ezekiel Slade and Lula Jane Steen.¹ Fulton died on May 3, 1981 at age 70.² He was buried in Eureka Bapt Church Cemetery, Rankin County, Mississippi.³

     Woodroe Franklin Slade was born circa 1913 in Mississippi.¹ He was the son of Frank Ezekiel Slade and Lula Jane Steen.¹ Woodroe Franklin Slade enlisted to serve in World War II on July 18, 1940 in Jackson, Hinds County, Mississippi.³
     Woodroe married Audrey Mae Jackson on November 1, 1945 in Sebastian County, Arkansas,², the daughter of Grace Mae House & William Jasper Jackson.⁴ Woodroe died on April 5, 1980.⁵ He was buried in Salem Cemetery, Independence, Jackson County, Missouri.⁵

     Tom Gaddis Slade was born on October 9, 1918 in Mississippi.¹ He was the son of Frank Ezekiel Slade and Lula Jane Steen.¹ Tom died on March 30, 1991 at age 72.²

     Cliff Taylor Slade was born on July 14, 1923 in Mississippi.¹ He was the son of Frank Ezekiel Slade and Lula Jane Steen.¹
     Cliff married Wava Young.² Wava was the daughter of Thomas J & Lillian Gertrude Young.² Cliff died on April 23, 2004 in Rankin County, Mississippi, at age 80.³ He was buried in Brandon Memorial Gardens, Brandon, Rankin County, Mississippi.⁴

     Ezekiel S. Slade was born on June 27, 1925 in Mississippi.² He was the son of Frank Ezekiel Slade and Lula Jane Steen.¹ Ezekiel died on October 27, 2007 at age 82.² He was buried in Eureka Bapt Church Cemetery, Rankin County, Mississippi.²

     Audrey Mae Jackson was born on January 24, 1921 in Missouri^1,2, the daughter of Grace Mae House & William Jasper Jackson.³
     Audrey married Woodroe Franklin Slade, son of Frank Ezekiel Slade and Lula Jane Steen, on November 1, 1945 in Sebastian County, Arkansas.¹ Audrey died on December 24, 1992 at age 71.² She was buried in Salem Cemetery, Independence, Jackson County, Missouri.⁴

     Wava Young was born on December 28, 1924.¹ Wava was the daughter of Thomas J & Lillian Gertrude Young.¹
     Wava married Cliff Taylor Slade, son of Frank Ezekiel Slade and Lula Jane Steen.¹ Wava died on August 1, 2015 at age 90.¹ She was buried in Brandon Memorial Gardens, Brandon, Rankin County, Mississippi.² Her obituary read as follows:

      Wava Young Slade, 90, a resident of Brandon, died Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with interment in the Brandon Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 12-2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon.

Mrs. Slade was a longtime resident of Rankin County. She was the daughter of Thomas J. and Lillian Gertrude Young. She was married to Cliff Taylor Slade. Mrs. Slade worked some outside the home but mostly enjoyed being a homemaker for her family who she loved very much. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Slade was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas J. and Lillian Gertrude Young; her husband, Cliff Taylor Slade and her siblings, Mary Bell Hall, Sara Conway, Betty Terry, Paul Young, J.T. Young and Jack Young.

Mrs. Slade is survived by her children, Tommie (Clark) Colvin, Wanda (Carl) Karges and Lena (Martin) White; brother, Roy (Rose) Young; sister, Winnie Foye Rowan; seven grandchildren, Lea Merkl, Dylan Karges, T.J. Colvin, Lori Sanders, Dustin White, Sarah White and Mollie White; 4 great grandchildren, Lily Sanders, Vivian Karges, Claiborne Karges and Cecelia Herbert; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

     Dorothy A. Weaver was born in 1902 in Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania.² She was the daughter of William F. Weaver and Mary Altoff.²
     Dorothy married Joseph Ernest Slade, son of Walter Randolph Slade and Mary Rebecca Martin.¹ Dorothy died on September 30, 1994 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.² She was buried in Saint Frances Xavier Cemetery, Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania.²

     Joseph A. Slade II was born circa 1929 in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.¹ He was the son of Joseph Ernest Slade and Dorothy A. Weaver.¹
     Joseph married Alma DiVenuti in 1951^1,2, the daughter of Biagio and Berenice Marks DiVenuti.² Joseph died on September 11, 2015 in Milford, Connecticut.¹ His obituary read as follows:

      Joseph A. Slade, 86, of Milford, CT, died peacefully Friday, September 11, 2015. He was born in Allentown, PA, the son of Joseph E. and Dorothy Slade. He is survived by his wife Rose Goldstein, his two daughters Carol of Maine and Veronica and her wife Lisa Schultz of New Mexico. He is also survived by his brother William, his wife Winnie, their children Stacey, William, Jr., and Susan; along with Rose's sons, Howie, Danny, Wayne, his wife Grace, grandchildren Joseph (IV), Andrew, Jenny, Josh, and Jade and great grandchild, Charlotte Rose. He is predeceased by his parents and son Dr. Joseph F. Slade, III.Joseph served in the U.S. Marines and graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University and New York University, and worked as a mathematician in industry. After retiring he and his wife spent many winters in Las Cruces, NM. Joe volunteered teaching GED classes to prisoners at New Haven, CT and services to Hospice. Visitation will be held at Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St., Guilford, CT at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, with graveside service to follow.
