Burial will be in the Slade Family Cemetery. Mrs. Slade was a homemaker and member of Clear Branch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard L. Slade Sr; one son, David Slade; her parents, Charles and Annie Flattman Geeck. Mrs. Slade is survived by two sons, Leonard L. Slade Jr. of Cullman, AL and Jackie Slade of Purvis; three daughters, Linda Hartfield, Betty Stevens, and Ruth Hartfield all of Purvis; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.2
