Myatt and husband Kirby of Melbourne, Florida, four grandsons, Joel Mizelle and wife Lisa of Washington, Randall Mizelle of Florida, Michael Mizelle and wife Jennifer of Raleigh and Garyn Mizelle of Chocowinity, two granddaughters, Vicki Stickels and husband Don of Alabama and Kim Gobeli and husband Steve of Florida, ten great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Slade is preceded in death by a son, Gary Earl Slade, five brothers, Warren Berry, Dallas Berry, John Berry, Bill Berry and Herman Berry.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service and other times at the home of her daughter, Shelby S. Mizelle, 2502 W. 5th St., Washington, NC 27889.
