     Margaret Ann Sutton was born on December 22, 1814.¹ She was the daughter of Zachariah Sutton and Frusannah Askew.
     Margaret married William Slade, son of William Slade and Catherine Fleetwood, on November 28, 1833 in Dooly County, Georgia.¹ Margaret died on December 31, 1847 in Georgia at age 33.

     Sara Sutton was born on February 6, 1827 in Georgia.^1,2 She was the daughter of Zachariah Sutton and Frusannah Askew.³
     Sara married Jeremiah Slade, son of Ebenezer Slade and Louisa Acklin, on December 17, 1844.¹ Sara died on December 7, 1857 at age 30.¹

     Zachariah Sutton was born say 1787.¹ He was the son of Jacob Sutton.²
     Zachariah married Frusannah Askew on February 27, 1810 in Jefferson County, Georgia.^1,2 Zachariah Sutton was a Baptist minister who traveled around areas of Georgia is mentioned in Crisp Co. Ga. Historical Sketches as stating the Sutton family was of Irish descent.² Zachariah died on June 25, 1845 in Dooly County, Georgia.²

     Eula Williams was born on September 7, 1879 in Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of Isaiah Williams and Nancy Carolyn Sheppard.^1,2
     Eula married Thomas Jefferson Slade, son of Jeremiah Slade Jr. and Penelope J. Williams.¹ Eula died on October 19, 1901 at age 22.¹ She was buried in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.¹

     Goven Williams was born say 1855 est from age of spouse.
     Goven married Winnaford Jackson Slade, daughter of William Slade and Winnaford Jackson, on August 20, 1874 in Dooly County, Georgia, likely location.¹ Goven died in September, 1927.¹

     Hiram W Williams was born on August 16, 1846 in Dooly County, Georgia.¹
     Hiram married Emma J. Slade, daughter of William Slade and Winnaford Jackson, in Georgia likely location.² Hiram died on November 13, 1934 at age 88¹ and was buried in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.¹

     Penelope J. Williams was known as Nelpie. She was born on February 22, 1851 in Georgia.¹ She was New Tag in 1852 in Georgia.²
     Penelope married Jeremiah Slade Jr., son of Jeremiah Slade and Sara Sutton, circa 1870.² Penelope J. Williams was listed as Nelpie J. Slade on the Pulaski Cemetery Index. Penelope died on March 12, 1887 in Hawkinsville, Pulaski County, Georgia.³ She was buried in Slade Cemetery, Pulaski County, Georgia.¹ Her obituary read as follows:

     

The following notice of her death appeared in the Hawkinsville Dispatch on March 17, 1887:
     Mrs. Jerry Slade, whose severe illness from measles was mentioned in the Dispatch last week has since died from the effects of the same. The disease developed into pneumonia, which was the imediate cause of death.³

     Scott William Slade was born on June 25, 1966 in Rutland, Rutland County, Vermont.¹ He was the son of William Albert Slade Jr. and Diane Shelly Morgan.¹ Scott died on August 5, 1985 at age 19² and was buried in Dry Creek Cemetery, Boise, Ada County, Idaho.²

     Lois Victoria Allen was born on December 31, 1912 in Mesic, Pamlico County, North Carolina.¹
     Lois married Hampton Walter Slade Sr., son of Benjamin Abner Slade and Mary S. Dixon, on November 27, 1934 in Reelsboro, Pamlico County, North Carolina.¹ Lois had complications in the birth of her daughter Mamie, which later resulting in her subsequent death. Hampton and his sister, Lessie helped raised Mamie.¹ Lois died on June 10, 1936 in Florence Twp, Pamlico County, North Carolina, at age 23.¹ She was buried in Concord Christian Church Cemetey, Pamlico County, North Carolina.¹

     Flora Myrtle Inabinette was born on January 20, 1937 in Vancleave, Jackson County, Mississippi,¹, the daughter of Martha C & Mack S Inabinette.²
     Flora married Thomas Eugene Slade, son of Rev. William Albert Slade and Ava Reid, in 1960.¹ Flora died on November 23, 2015 at age 78.¹ She was buried in Vancleave Cemetery #01, Vancleave, Jackson County, Mississippi.^2,3

     Virginia Elizabeth Batson was born on December 22, 1890 in Florence Twp, Pamlico County, North Carolina.¹ She went by Lizzie.
     Virginia married Truman Ross Slade, son of John Frank Slade Jr. and Susan Whitehurst Carraway, on July 29, 1906 Swanquarter, Hyde County, North Carolina.¹ Virginia died on December 26, 1911 in Florence Twp, North Carolina, at age 21¹ and was buried in Concord Christian Church Cemetey, Pamlico County, North Carolina.¹

     Mary Elizabeth Berry was New Tag circa 1910 in Hyde County, North Carolina.¹ She was born in 1913 in North Carolina.² She was the daughter of Charlie Whitfield Berry and Leddie May O'Neal.²
     Mary married Cecil Earl Slade, son of Mable Frances Slade, on August 25, 1928 in Washington, Beaufort County, North Carolina.¹ Mary died on August 28, 2012 in Washington, North Carolina,³ and was buried in Oakdale Cemetery, Washington, Beaufort County, North Carolina.^3,4 Her obituary read as follows:

      Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Berry Slade, age 99, a resident of 326 E. 11th St., Washington, died Tuesday August 28, 2012 at her home.
Graveside services will be 10:00 am Saturday September 1, 2012 at Oakdale Cemetery and will be conducted by Rev. Scott Setzer. Mrs. Slade’s grandsons and great grandson will serve as honorary pallbearers. She will lie in state at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday afternoon.
Mrs. Slade was born in Hyde County to the late Charlie and Liddie May O’Neal Berry. On April 25, 1928 she married Cecil Earl Slade who preceded her in death on May 20, 1989. She was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church of Washington.
Survivors include two daughters, Shelby S. Mizelle and husband Jim of Washington, Mary S. Myatt and husband Kirby of Melbourne, Florida, four grandsons, Joel Mizelle and wife Lisa of Washington, Randall Mizelle of Florida, Michael Mizelle and wife Jennifer of Raleigh and Garyn Mizelle of Chocowinity, two granddaughters, Vicki Stickels and husband Don of Alabama and Kim Gobeli and husband Steve of Florida, ten great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Slade is preceded in death by a son, Gary Earl Slade, five brothers, Warren Berry, Dallas Berry, John Berry, Bill Berry and Herman Berry.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service and other times at the home of her daughter, Shelby S. Mizelle, 2502 W. 5th St., Washington, NC 27889.

Brabble, Florence, Pamlico County, North Carolina.¹ Florence died on October 15, 1970 in Florence Twp, North Carolina, at age 90.¹ She was buried in Concord Christian Church Cemetey, Pamlico County, North Carolina.¹
