     Indie Lillian Slade was born on November 14, 1892 in Norfolk, Virginia.¹ She was the daughter of James Albert Slade and Indi Anna Watt.¹ Indie died on July 14, 1893 in Norfolk, Virginia.²

     Robert Bigelow Slade was born on May 2, 1913 in Winter Garden, Orange County, Florida.² He was the son of Raleigh Walter Slade and Jetlie Lee Warren.³
     Robert married Mavis Elaine Hartman, daughter of Theodore M. Hartman and Emma Quale, on August 9, 1943 in Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota.^4,5 Robert died on January 15, 1996 in Watertown, Coddington County, South Dakota, at age 82.⁶ He was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Watertown, Coddington County, South Dakota.⁷ His obituary read as follows:

      Robert Bigelow "Bob" Slade, Jr. age 75, passed away at Midland Memorial Hospital on October 30, 2019. He was born October 22, 1944 in Clearwater Beach, FL to Robert Slade Sr. and Mavis Elaine (Hartman) Slade. Bob married Alma Engle in Las Vegas on December 24, 1979. He was a sales manager.
Bob was a great husband, father and grandfather. He cherished his beloved grandchildren and touched many lives throughout his time here on earth. He was an avid golfer and had traveled the states numerous times, even going as far as to South Africa. He loved to read and had a book with him everywhere he went. He had an amazing sense of humor and could tell a great story. He was an easy going person who loved life.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his wife: Alma Slade of Fort Worth, TX; two sons: Jason Robert Slade and wife Laura of Lucas, OH and Brett Lee Slade in Dallas, TX; daughter: Jennifer Ann Slade of Wagoner, OK; eight grandchildren: Brittnee, Katie, Hannah, Mia, Robert "Bobby" III, John, Jack, and Rosalie; and one great-grandchild: Everlee.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister: Marilyn Day; and his first wife: Barbara (Bowers) Slade.

     Theodore Lamar Slade was born circa 1922 in Florida.² He was the son of Brinson T. Slade and Rosa [?].² Theodore Lamar Slade enlisted to serve in World War II on July 10, 1942 in Camp Blanding, Florida.³
     Theodore married Emma Lucille Matheny on November 15, 1948 in Bartow, Polk County, Florida.¹ Theodore Lamar Slade and Emma Lucille Matheny were divorced in 1950 in Polk County, Florida.⁴ Theodore died on February 15, 1987 in Florida.⁵ He was buried in Shady Oaks Gardens, Polk County, Florida.⁶

     Robert Milton Slade was known as Milton.² He was born on December 13, 1923 in Polk County, Florida.³ He was the son of Brinson T. Slade and Rosa [?].¹ Robert died on May 27, 1985 in Florida at age 61.³

     Berry E. Slade was born circa 1903 in Florida.¹ He was the son of Robert Slade and Annie [?].²
     Berry married Mattie M. [?] circa 1920 in Alabama (likely.)³

     Walter James Slade was born on November 29, 1879 in Exeter, Devon, England.^3,4 He was the son of Peter Slade and Sarah Ann Holland.^5,6 Walter immigrated from to United States in 1905.¹ He sailed from Liverpool, England aboard the ship Ivernia, arriving at Port of Boston on January 27th, 1905. On the ship's passenger list, his last permanent address was recorded as Silverton, Exeter. His final destination was to see his friend Edwin Jenkins in Lenox, Massachusetts.^4,2
     Walter married Ellen P. [?] circa 1908.¹ Walter James Slade declared intent to naturalize on December 10, 1913 in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut.² He was registered for the military draft in World War I on September 12, 1918 in Fairfield County, Connecticut.³ He was registered for World War 2 draft in 1942 while living in Cos Cob, Fairfield County, Connecticut.⁷ Walter died in March, 1975 at age 95.⁸

     Edwin Walter Slade was born on February 4, 1912 in Greenwich Twp, Fairfield County, Connecticut.^1,2,3 He was the son of Walter James Slade and Ellen P. [?]¹
     Edwin married Marie Mitchell, daughter of Elmer Mitchell and Delores V. [?], on April 27, 1946 in Stamford, Fairfield County, Connecticut.^4,5 Edwin Walter Slade and Marie Mitchell relocated in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 1971.⁵ Edwin died in November, 1980 in Ft. Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida, at age 68.²

     Norman Charles Slade was born on January 2, 1929 in Bogalusa, Washington Parish, Louisiana.^2,1 He was the son of James Charles Slade and Helen V. Beall.² Norman died on February 19, 2003 in Manahawkin, Ocean County, New Jersey, at age 74.¹

     Estelle Virginia Slade was born on September 2, 1917 in Virginia.² She was the daughter of John William Slade and Nancy Belle Gwaltney.³ Estelle Virginia Slade was New Tag circa 1919 in Virginia.⁴ She is recorded as Virginia E. in the 1920 census.⁵

     Estelle married second John Albert Wells.^7,2 Estelle died on March 10, 1980 at age 62.² She was buried in Waverly Cemetery, Sussex County, Virginia.²
